Best On Broadway Wine & Liquor

What a welcomed addition to Broadway. It’s hard to believe that there aren’t a few stores like this in the area.
The store is simple, perhaps we’ll say «cute». The prices are just right and the selection is even better. The man who helped me was very knowledgeable about their selection and obviously proud of the store (this makes me happy).
The price tags are handmade and they also have liquor. I can’t speak too much about the prices on the liquor but I can’t imagine they’re bad.
I’ve been frequenting the wine shop at 34^th Ave and 32^nd St — BUT NO MORE. I have a new wine shop!

This isn’t your average liquor store. They have a few essentials, but generally, you come here to get something out-​of-​the-​ordinary, without expectation or preconception. I’ve bought new, imported vodka here before it became popular, i’ve bought tasty crème liqueur that i’ve never seen elsewhere, and i’ve bought excellent hungarian tokaji wine. Prices are right and the store is clean and kempt.
The staff is helpful in finding what’s right for your tastes. They seem concerned more with whether you’ll like something than with actually making a sale, and the niche structure means they have a better idea of what’s how and where’s which than your average wino joint.
Some people are put off by the lack of general selection. To you, i say, next time you walk into a specialty soho clothing store and can’t find socks, jeans, or that black tee shirt you were hoping for, i’ll be expecting a bad review.
