Bella Pizza

I get out of work late and this pizzeria is open late which is a plus++++ and they have good food. i recommend the Cajun chicken slices and Bbq chicken slices those are my favorite. their buffalo chicken rolls are also really good and it is huge you definitely get your money’s worth for the portion size.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I tried calling multiple times to inquire about ordering several pies for my daughter’s birthday party. Each time I called I was told to call back to talk to the manager but the manager was never there. So I finally just asked for prices and they were so rude. They even hung up on me mid sentence! I will never give this place my money.

Never in my life I will order again! Besides being just ok in their food they are AWFUL with their deliveries !! Ordered from seamles and after an hour passed I called to find out about my deliverie and the guy answering the calls could not be more clueless ! This business is run by a bunch of morons! Never again!

THIEVES… Worst experience ever. Order through seamless and only after two hours calling multiple times did they tell me that there online orders were down. They charged my credit card and never delivered food. I hope the authorities look into their scam.

After a walk in the neighborhood the other night, I stumbled across this corner pizzeria and a NYC pizza that was hands down a NYC Pizza. No complaints. Plus, that was the name of the cheese pizza-​NYC pizza. It was a big thin slice just like mama used to make it when she served all the construction boys during their lunch break because it was like a piece of home back in Tuscany.
Today, the Queen Margarita of Savoy was summoned and she was pissed for receiving a dry ass pie. The red sauce tasted like a familiar canned tomato– not that it’s a bad thing-​but you could actually taste how simple it was. There was a hint of flavor which may be the cause of an extra star on this review. To me, the Italian colors were badly represented because there wasn’t enough basil on every section and the mozzarella tasted like– white cheese. The crust was not my favorite but then again cardboard could be someone else’s thing. Basically, it wasn’t spectacular. I still scarfed 4 pieces but, overall it was ok. It really was.

Ordered a personal Hawaiian pizza. It was pretty good too! A little expensive, but it was worth an occasional visit. They had tons of slices to choose from, didn’t check the prices, but it’s nice to be able to get whatever kind your craving in two minutes!

The employees at Bella Pizza are very humble. They give great service!

Delivery sucked. Half the cheese was on the cardboard. How can the driver be so lazy to not handle it with care. Please fix this issue.

I understand that late night delivery is rough, but if you’re going to do it, commit to it. Instead Bella Pizza sent me a cold pizza almost 1.5 hours later, with all toppings and cheese stuck to the lid of the box. The manager then requested he send his guy to come pick up the pizza in order to give me a refund. Keep your money, I’m not wasting any more time on this order. Maybe consider another business besides pizza?

Hands down worst. Calamari was not fresh and the Philly pizza tasted like… Well I probably can’t say that. Not to mention the delivery took longer than any other shop I’ve ordered from in queens.

Basically the only good thing about this place is that they’re open late. Service is slow, pizza is terrible. Seriously, I’m drunk and I’m hungry and I still can’t bring myself to like it. In fact, it’s hard to tell the difference between the pizza and the cardboard box it comes in. Satisfy your late night food cravings elsewhere.

Good margarita slice and good plain. But seriously drenching slices in ranch does not make pizza good. If you like slices smothered in dressing, you’ll love this place.

Well I have to say it was not the worst pizza I have eaten. The grandma square with mozzarella was bland. The sauce was of low quality and completely unseasoned. The dough it self was thick all around and lacked that thin New York style crispness. The regular style slice I thought was mediocre. The low moisture mozzarella cheese that was used was unpleasant as well. As I took a bite the cheese, sauce, and bread of the pizza just did not marry well together. Something was off. Quantity over quality I felt was being made in this pizza joint. I had sprinkled some garlic and pepper flakes to redeem itself from the lack ness of flavors. Unfortunately, that did not help. I may or may not give it another chance.

I like this place, but my boyfriend LOVES it– So I added an extra star for him. He loves the buffalo chicken pizza.
The slices are good, and usually there is a pretty big variety.
Its right near the subway (30 ave station) so its super convenient.
Typically they are open pretty late, which is a huge plus.
The staff is very very friendly, really nice guys.

Bad service. Had a penne a la vodka with chicken.
First the chicken was in whole. No GOOD
then had 4 Zepolis asked for x-​tra white sugar. NONE.
ASKED for cheese to sprinkle on my pasta. They send me BLUE CHEESE. said was sharing. Only send me 1 fork no napkins no plate.
Would never order again.
Called to say they messed up. They didn’t even apologize. HORRIBLE SERVICE OVER ALL.

Bella Pizza; yes, they sell pizza. It is open late. Large selection of options. Why I’m disappointed; pizza was way below par.
After having an enjoyable evening with a few adult beverages; some late night food was in order. Bella Pizza is across the street from a plethora of bars on Newtown and 31 Street.
Service was quick fast food. Slice with sausage $ 4; crazy. This is Astoria in Queens, not Midtown Manhattan.
Slice was thin crust, but cheese ratio was weak and tasteless. Sauce was so sweet that it overpowered the awesome amount of sausage and crust.
The place was busy with the late night crowd of patrons from the bars looking for some late night food. Some may find the slice awesome; alcohol will do this to the taste buds. I, the consumer of thousands of slices, should have gone to the corner diner, the Chinese takeout place, taco truck or the 24 hour supermarket.
There are other options on this strip to enjoy some late night food. Bella Pizza arrivederci… ciao bella…

It’s so hard for me to find quality gluten free pizza in Astoria and I finally found the place! It tastes just like real pizza and the crust is soft, not weirdly crunchy like a lot of gluten free pizzas I’ve had.
Just taking one star away because I ordered for delivery, and on the phone I was told the order was $ 19 and when the delivery man arrived he said it was $ 20. Just kind of annoying because I already set the cash out and needed to make him awkwardly wait at the door while I ran to get an extra dollar.

Taking two stars away, partly due to continued issues, and majorly due to some piss poor delivery service.
I ordered last week, and, yet again, was called after they accepted my Seamless order because they didn’t have one of the slices I ordered. I’ve rarely had that issue with other places. Can’t you just make the slice fresh? Always happens when I order late from this place, always AFTER they accept my order/​process the charge, and they’re close to closing. Mind you, the guy is always nice about how he approaches it… but it gets tiresome when other places in the area will make you the slice you want.
Then I get the brilliance of the delivery dude calling me to say, «Hey. I’m double parked outside. Can you come down and get your food?»
I was literally shocked. I have NEVER had that happen in nearly a decade of living in NYC, and have NEVER had that happen anywhere in the world. Ever.
When I finally shook the shock, I said, «You’re a delivery person. I tipped you well on my card ahead of time to ensure decent delivery. Are you serious???»
He stated his case again, as if he had a valid point. I asked him to either put on his flashers, and buzz up quickly to my place, or to find a parking spot. He opts for the second option, and hangs up.
So I know my food is within spitting distance, but not in my mouth because of a lazy delivery man whom I wish I had not tipped so well — or at all — ahead of time. 10 minutes later… HE CALLS MY PHONE AGAIN!
«I’m downstairs at your door. I’m double-​parked. Can you come down to get your food.»
You have got to be flippin’ kidding me!!! I inform him that it would be faster for him to climb the stairs, rather than me finding appropriate clothing to replace my robe and come downstairs. He says, «I’ll wait.»
When I get down there, the story is clear: lazy delivery dude who just didn’t want to climb my stairs. Had it been otherwise, and he was really worried about double parking, he would have taken the quicker option of not waiting for me to get dressed. I get that the job isn’t a walk in the park. But when you’re tipped 25% for delivery ahead of time? Climb the stairs, dude!
On top of that, the pizza wasn’t as good as I recall it being before (this may have been because it was well on its way to cold by the time I finally got my pizza, due to dude’s delay crap — then again… it wasn’t incredible upon reheat, either).
Highly doubt I’ll order from here again. I know these guys don’t get paid much, but that kind of ish combined with having to amend my original order is truly outrageous.

I’ve never written a bad review, but tonight was just unacceptable. Not only did I get the wrong pizza, but the burger I ordered must have gone bad in the freezer. The frozen patty of beef tasted absolutely terrible. How dare you sell an old frozen piece of beef to a customer??? This meat should have been thrown away a long time ago!
