Mirenda Center For Sport Spirituality and Character Development

I’m obviously biased because I work in this building but in comparison to our previous gym, this place us UNREAL.
We used to play bball in what many would consider smaller than most local high school gyms– now– a 1,700 seater that has the large court but could be made into two smaller courts. It’s really nice– the bleachers fold in and open up on both sides for volleyball and basketball games.
There is an auxillary gym in the back with rubber floors– the same flooring as the track (that’s ¹⁄₁₀ of a mile!)
The weight and cardio rooms are sweet too– each cardio machine has cable TVs on them as well as plugs for MP3 players.
At a school that’s only 47 years old, it’s really, really nice.
