So Im sad to say that I can never go back to my favorite hoagie place in DELCO! I order here alot for lunch and today arrived back to work and my hoagies had Alot of hair in it… not just a strand. a clump! So I called there to let them know and they were completely unapologetic and said i could bring it back for a new one. Considering I work across town and was on lunch break, I didnt have time to do this, so I asked them if there was anything else they could do for me and they said No. So i let them know that they losing a customer and a work place that orders from there alot and they said Ok! Like no big deal. The attitude on top of the hair just pushed me over the edge. I never write reviews on here and felt compelled to do so, in order to prevent other people from making the same mistake and ordering from here. Di Scalas next store or Primos will now be getting the business that I would have given to them… but I guess they are ok with That.

The outskirts of Phillies cheesesteak so it was good. I liked my buffalo cheese star sandwich. The fries were too crispy but my friends really liked theirs.

Their cheesesteak wrap and their fat boy burger are very good. My boyfriend and I are addicted to this place.

Just what a Hoagie place should be, hole in the wall, lots of chips & Coke products and an endless selection of Hoagies. They are generous with the meat and the«small» is largest enough for a meal. The«large» must be crazy big.

My fiancé swears their chicken fingers are the best in the area, and I can’t disagree. I’ve been a long time customer, and have probably tried mostly everything. Nice, quality ingredients. Steaks and hoagies are packed(I even heard I guy order a «cheesesteak, light meat» one time). I’ve gotten many incorrect orders over the years, which I pretty much chalk up to their crazy lunch rush, and always order again and again. Another con is their lack of italian long hots! Recently got some travel hoagies for a trip up north. Nicely packaged, just as good as freshly made. Another thing to point out, is that my former boss would ALWAYS order their hoagie trays to bring to clients, so I’m assuming there was never any complaints in that area.

I have been ordering and eating at this laspadas for the past 10 years and it’s amazing. I have lived in Philly my whole life and have tried cheese steaks all over the city and Delco, and I can tell you laspadas makes the best cheese steaks I’ve ever had. Also the club sandwiches n cold cuts are great. Only bad thing I can say about this place is the service is not A+. But it is only a steak shop. I recommend anyone who has never been get a cheese steak or chicken cheese steak and it won’t disappoint.

Delco has done it again! The absolute best sandwiches are not in the city, but in the burbs! Chicken Cut Italiano(it’s called a Bada Bing) with sharp prov and broccoli rabe is amazing and far better than Tony Luke’s etc etc. Really juicy chicken on a wonderful roll. Pizza steak is very tasty, with finely chopped rib eye on a nice roll. The sauce, cheese and onions mixed in perfectly. This was a good day for sandwiches. Service was good, place was clean, prices were decent. The small size is HUGE, i wonder what the large looks like. This is my go to spot for pre — Union game tailgate food.

Solid Philadelphia hoagie option. I made the mistake of calling it a sub, and the hot guy behind the counter gave me a sly smile and told me that«Around here, they’re called hoagies.» Lesson learned. That guy could ask me to call it anything he wants. Rawwr. I had the Italian vegetable. The small was huge. Just FYI. Huge bits of red peppers and eggplant smothered in cheese with yummy peppers and onions. And here, I was worried that they wouldn’t have anything vegetarian! They may have only had one sandwich option listed, but it was pretty darn delicious. The bread was delicious. Buttery and cheesy, and amazing in all regards. The interior is small and simplistic, but you can easily push a few tables together if you have a group of more than 4 or 5(and thus, won’t fit into the booth).

We ordered take-out from here for a work lunch. I chose the Italian Veggie wrap which consists of fried eggplant, broccoli rabe, roasted red peppers and provolone. First impression: the wrap was absolutely drenched and swimming in grease. Even after I used a wad of napkins to wipe it off, it ran down my hands and wrists in a very un-ladylike way. There was too much broccoli rabe adding a really bitter note to the taste of oil. I didn’t eat more than a few bites. It came with a small side of some kind of pasta salad that looked promisingly unappetizing, so I didn’t try it. I had some of my co-workers french fries, which were a soggy crinkle-cut. French fries are always good to me, though — even when they’re bad. I might try something different here next time.

Since the girlfriend and I have moved to Chadds Ford we’ve been looking for a take out place to impress us. We’ll we’ve found it. Had the Italian Roast Pork Sandwich… nicely done. Looking forward to trying more of the menu.

Worst cheesesteaks I’ve ever had. I’d give it negative 8 stars if I could. I don’t know how anyone can like these train wrecks for sandwiches. I’ve come to realize that if you like these things, then your taste buds are shot. If you like 96 lbs of salt and horrible tasting meat, then this place is for you. Also, if you order a pepperoni cheesesteak, I’m pretty sure they open up a pack of lunchables and use that pepperoni. Just awful. Go to Jim’s, Leo’s, or Drexel House Deli if you want a real cheesesteak.

This place is the template for the classic Delco sandwich shop: full racks of the Herr’s family of potato chips(and other potato products… apparently), tantalising display of Tastykakes, early 80’s plastic priceboard behind the counter, the kind with the snap-on letters and numbers, delightfully yellowed by years of hot meat exhaust. The menu is expansive and impressive, certainly evolving with the times. I mean, they have fucking wraps — that shit would get your ass kicked for you back in my day. Tortillas were for tacos — end of. Anyway, the menu, it’s full of first-rate hoagies, platters and salads, all prepared fresh with fine traditional meats and produce. But never mind that shit, you’re here for a steak. Fresh sliced ribeye expertly dealt with on the grill — fold in the fried onions — apply the white American cheese — folded again to ensure maximum melted cheese distribution — marry it with the best bread in the tri-state area, courtesy of Chester’s own Buono Bros. Bakery, and you’ve got the seminal suburban Philadelphia cheesesteak. Grab a bag of chips — plain — and have at it. No fucking Cheez Whiz, no silly ass french fries, no rolls sliced by a goddamn band saw.

Ever body knows that Philadelphia is the best place to get cheese steaks. Well, take those great tasting steaks and put them right in DelCo and that is exactly what La Spadas is. I went in and ordered a large for 11.79 $ thinking it would be a good ten inch steak. I was wrong, it was a 20 inch steak. It was so good I ate the entire thing in one sitting. Best place to get steaks outside of Philly. Hands down.
