Sorry — I’ve had way better pizza than Josephine’s. The Hawaiian Pizza that we had the other night shouldn’t have even been called that… The dough was super dough-y, there was way too much sauce, the pineapple was crushed instead of in chunks and was totally lost in the sauce so you couldn’t even taste it, and there was hardly any ham on it at all… We also had a salad which was good but nothing really to write home about… Josephine’s has been open for years now so people must like something about it, but it just didn’t work for us:(

We live near Josephine’s and they make a good chicken parm. I prefer a thicker, crispier crust on pizza but their pizza is A-OK with me– especially with mushrooms. Since I like it a little thicker, I ask for the pie well done and it’s just as good. My good buds who used to live up the street wold go to Jo’s once a week because they LOVE their pies– now they’ve moved to the far off land of Chadds Ford and make a special trip to see them every week. They are no longer open for lunch… which is sad :-(
