JJD Contracting

BEWARE BEWARE! I contracted JJD in March 2013 for a very large ($ 75k) job that was suppose to take about 5 –8 weeks. By mid June they blamed in on the weather, by July they claimed much of delay was due to changes. In August they stopped showing up on a daily basis. The Township eventually towed their trailer away on Oct 21 as it was considered abandoned according to the police. They have not returned my calls or email since early September. I have to hire another contractor to finish the project and a lawyer to settle this issue!
The salesman, John and the owner Joe, will tell you everything you want to hear, but you will be lucky if their workers know much English and their project manger, Dave, rarely shows up on site.
My front walkway was suppose to be replaced in the exact same layout but the layout is completely different. My back patio had to be corrected numerous times and there are still lots of issues that need to be taken care of! The work they have completed has to be corrected and they also owe me for things I upgraded or changed. I was told any change orders were to be paid in advance so now I am out all that money too!
