Antro hermoso si los hay, un lugar chiquito, oscuro y medio escondido ubicado en el medio de Aspen. La pizza es barata, las porciones gigantes y la chica de la caja y el pizzero macanudisimos. Mas que recomendado para los que buscan una variante económica en medio del lujo de este pueblito.

Let me start by saying Im not even a big fan of pizza, but I seriously love this place. We come here every year! And its so worth it. If you are looking for a fancy dining experience then dont bother. This place is the definition of «hole-in-the-wall» and its the best hole-in-the-wall pizza ever! I decided to try one of the other options on the menu this year and I was not disappointed. It was just as delicious as the pizza. This is a great place to stop in for lunch… or perhaps a drunken midnight snack. Two thumbs up. Highly recommended.

Avoid after midnight every night, avoid all day during Xmas and New Years, XGames, 4th of July or a handful of other busy days of the year. It’s just wretched. The crowds are unbearable, staff are 20 something year-olds too stoned and/or drunk to care and it’s just not worth it. Otherwise, they’ve got fairly decent pizza. Cheap as well with not overly expensive beer as well. Just go when the staff is a little more adult and a little less stoned and/or drunk. Bring cash, doesn’t accept cards.

A dive’y pizza place upstairs from the Green Dragon dispensary… pot & a pie? spliff & a slice? Perfect. We walk in and the place is immediately familiar; like cheap college pizza places I have loved. Genuinely friendly staff chat with us but don’t miss calling out to kids by name as they come in behind us. …and they have a loaded vege pizza by the slice, just for me. If you’re not vegetarian, you probably don’t notice, but nobody does this(except for Whole Foods) and I usually get stuck with some manky cheese slab. Slices are a decent size. Unless you are working on the ever-expanding american waistline, a slice and a drink make a decent meal. Decent crust, pretty good ingredients, overall — a solid pizza. This is one of about 6 good, low cost eateries in town. ** CASHONLY **

Not a bad effort, actually it’s quite a good effort, large slices close to NYC pizza(it’s slightly thicker than the real thing… just slightly). Big slices but expensive $ 4 for cheese slice, $ 5 for slice with toppings, but that’s quintessential Aspen pricing. So if you are looking for NYC pizza, stop by this place.

I have been into New York Pizza on a few occasions, despite it not being my favorite pizza. Here are my thoughts: Pros: –The people that work here are SO nice and friendly. They will chat it up with you and really seem to enjoy working here. –The slices are huge, and one can make a meal for $ 4-$ 5, depending on the toppings. A slice of cheese is $ 4, and I ordered a white slice for $ 4.75 once. –Plenty of seating inside. Cons: –The pizza isn’t very good. The white I really did not enjoy, and the cheese was kind of OK. –Cash only –Not as good as NYC

Ordered the Veggie Works pizza and the almost Greek salad to be delivered. The salad was huge and very fresh(it can easily feed 4 people). The pizza was made with very fresh ingredients as well but a little soggy(we through it back in the over for 10 min.)
