OK place to go if you’re visiting Aspen on a shoestring budget. In the city center and close to the bus station(Rubey Park), so convenient if you’re looking to get something really quick and don’t mind McDonalds. Avoid during Xmas, X-Games and 4th of July, the swarm of people is unbearable.

Omfg this place smells like shit, like literally real shit man. It’s like 80 something degrees right now and the a/c is off, no fans or anything. I love Aspen but seriously this is the worst Mcdonald’s I have ever been to. Yuck, Unilocal should make 0 star rating or minus stars. Not even worth 1star

I’m not sure what was going on when all of the negative reviews occurred, but this spot was just fine for a McDonald’s when I went back in December. Came to Aspen for a show at Belly Up, and I had no idea where the fluff to eat that was somewhat affordable and still open when I arrived in the darkness. Went to the McDonald’s and was expecting the worst McDonald’s ever. It was fine. Ate my food upstairs, there was a fireplace and a decent view of Aspen. The food was fine. It didn’t ‘smell’. The bathrooms were fine. Maybe when they’re rushed by a bunch of families their service and cleanliness slide, but I didn’t experience any problems.

Take a normal McDonald’s… stick it in Aspen… now make it so you have to go upstairs to find seating… then add some slightly broken tables and the smell of cleaner fluid… and you get this one! Whatever… it’s a McDonald’s… you knew that before you read this review :-)
