What an awesome afternoon! Megan and her staff led us in a Rat Pack inspired lunch with Beef Wellington, Salmon en Croute, Caesar Salad(with a true Caesar dressing), Wilted Winter Greens, Risotto and a Chocolate Mousse! It took the fear out of creating some classic dishes. I don’t eat red meat and have destroyed several pieces of good meat trying to cook my husband a good steak. I can now cook him something that appears as complicated as Beef Wellington — no problem! Megan, the Aspen Live crew will see you next year!

For the past two ski seasons I have taken a group class with Meghan and her team. The experience has been so much fun, I’ve picked up solid, useful kitchen skills, and the menus have been delicious. I’ve been able to easily recreate the dishes at home and recently made her Crab Cakes recipe for New Years Eve appetizers, making them while our friends watched and carefully waited for them to be ready… Huge hit! Looking forward to next year’s class menu!

Meghan prepared a wonderful dinner for me and 5 guests. She was able to work around some dietary concerns and still provide a menu that was interesting and delicious. The main course of Akaushi beef was expertly prepared and featured a trio of sauces that made it difficult for all of the guests to decide their favorite. Desert is always a favorite of this group and Meghan did not disappoint with her flourless chocolate cakes and Tiramisu. Beyond the dinner she prepared breakfast for the following morning and a picnic basket of items for lunch the next day to enjoy on the mountain. Meghan and her assistant were delightful to be around and made the group feel welcome all while preparing 3 meals and leaving the house spotless.

What a wonderful way to spend my Saturday! Meghan and her team created a really fun menu(Louisiana inspired) and they made us feel like we were at home in our own kitchens. Meghan also paired our menu with both red and white wine(and we had rum in our bread pudding). Her attention to detail, the fun vibe she created and of course the wonderful food, all made for an amazing experience. It’s a tradition for our Aspen Live team.

Megan has catered several parties for us and we love working with her. Her menus are creative, the food is FABULOUS and she skillfully accommodates whatever dietary restrictions are needed. I’ve had weird experiences with other caterers in Aspen: one bailed out at the last minute and one agreed to do an event but then refused to answer calls or emails. I’m thrilled to have now found Megan. She is professional, responsive and creative. She and her colleagues are always right on time and well prepared. And Megan’s prices are very fair. I was prepared for sticker shock — after all, this is Aspen– but each invoice has been right on target. We will happily continue to work with Megan!

Megan’s food was a highlight of a high-end, blind-tasting competition. The menu was designed to compliment Cabs and Bordeaux for about 30 people. Every item on the menu was a hit: Ossobuco Tacos with Blood Orange Gremolata, Ahi Sliders with Fennel Pollen and Aioli, Filet Mignon Bites, Lobster and Black Truffle Grilled Cheese, to name a few. Megan ran the kitchen at the host’s home, prepping the day before and the day of the event. She brought attentive and attractive staff to pour wine, serve food and clean up afterward. She was completely prepared, cool, and pleasant, as were her staff. Every bite of every dish was perfectly executed as envisioned. All night long, everyone was saying ‘oh my god, did you taste this, did you taste that…’ And this crowd knew about food and wine People are still talking about the food at that party. I don’t know how many people asked me for her contact info for their next event.
