The beer here is delicious and reasonably priced. Their IPA is particularly delicious. The bartenders are wonderful and friendly, especially for the Sunday night we went. Great place to catch up and hang out with friends.

don’t have much memory from the place as you can imagine but the beer was plentiful and the football was playing. It kinda reminds of me frat house so if that’s what you’re aiming for for the night then go! The beer sampler we got was serve on a ski! Woo hoo! Bucket list down! Very fun place with fun Denver people!

Definitely good beer selections. Space is at a premium, however, plus there’s no food. Can’t beat the location since it’s right next to a ski lift!

Last year my aunt and I went to Telluride Bluegrass festival, driving from Denver to Telluride with a 2 day stop in Aspen, looking for breweries along the way. Aspen brewing was a must stop for us. The location is great — downtown Aspen with a great view of the mountains and slopes. Every beer we tried was solid, I was a bit bummed though that at the time(2014) there weren’t many beers bottled or canned so I couldn’t bring anything home for my husband to try(I especially wanted to bring home this amazing red ale that they had). Hopefully that has changed by now! I loved the flights served on a ski :) Will be back next time I’m in Aspen!

Great beers, great location with great views and great atmosphere. The staff is always very nice and welcoming, the place is rarely empty and there’s always a good atmosphere around. Get a seat at the patio if you can as the views are great, especially in the fall with the colors changing. Great place to grab beer to go as well, with reasonable prices.

This place was awesome! I loved that it was unpretentious, despite being right in the middle of downtown Aspen. It was my first trip up there, so I grabbed a beer, snagged a seat in the sun at the railing, and watched the world go by. I really like Aspen’s blonde ale, and the saison I tried was good, too… But go for the chill atmosphere.

4⁄5 solid hang out a group of us rolled up at closing. we didn’t realize they were on off-season hours or something, but the bartender was chill and let us grab a round. i thought the glasses would make a nice souvenir so i grabbed one. we all huddled at a table(new work conference friends) and played a round of cards against humanity while sipping away. then this whole other party showed up, so we all got a second round! i though overall that it was a chill, laid-back escape from all the«fancier» things in the area. and then there was this cute big dog! oh, and the beers were good too, lol. the one i had reminded me strongly of a hef, which was nice. folks all around enjoyed their various choices.

When booking our overnight trip to Aspen we had planned on stopping by the Aspen Brewing Company. And I am so glad we decided to take a quick visit before our dinner reservations. I am a huge friend of saison beers and their Belgian Farmhouse Ale was the best I’d tried in a long time. My fiancé got the Conundrum Red Ale and he was in love with it. If they distributed out to Texas you can bet we’ll be trying all their other brews. Their location was quaintly located in the middle of Aspen with a bunch of restaurants and shops. Their rooftop patio, board games, and tvs give you a wealth of things to do if you go with a group of friends. Plus the service was great! With the friendliest group ever, an inviting environment, and the cutest beer label artwork I’ve seen yet, I’m so happy that we got to stop by this brewery on our Colorado trip.

Love this spot, a haven of unpretentiousness in the midst of Aspen. The brews are great– I love the Aspen blonde. The happy hour is an awesome deal and definitely worth checking out. There is an upstairs and downstairs patio which are cozy and perfect places to catch some summer sun. We spent a few days at the Limelight hotel in June and Aspen Brewing Company was our favorite spot.

Good beer, good vibes, but I was left felt a bit confused as to where to order and how to get food. I enjoyed the sampler, and started my friend. You have to order food downstairs next-door, and then they will bring it to you. I really enjoy the red ale. The reason this place does not get five stars is simply because I have been to a lot of breweries throughout Denver(and U.S.) and they far surpass the experience of a brewery in comparison this place. It was a great experience overall, but nothing more.

It’s a local favorite– for a reason. It’s a welcoming, unpretentious environment. Come here for the inexpensive beer and the fun atmosphere. It’s unlike any other place in Aspen. It almost feels like a small pub in a university town. There are certain peak hours, so if you’re looking for some place quiet, go midday. Tip for any non-locals– the beer has higher alcohol content, so if you’re adjusting to altitude, take it slow and drink lots of water! Food is not provided beyond some popcorn for sale, but they are great with bringing food in. Overall, this place is among my favorites in Aspen.

It’s really great that Aspen has a local brewing company, but I just am not into the scene here. I ordered their Blonde Beer on draft, which was only $ 5. The beer was fine, but it wasn’t anything special or unique. However, a $ 5 beer in Aspen is a $ 5 beer. The atmosphere sucks, and it was just a really bad and loud DJ playing when I went. People pack in here like sardines, making it loud but not social or fun. The bartenders were also not great, as they took your order and peaced out. I asked for a glass of water, and I was pointed to a water cooler that I couldn’t have gotten to if I wanted to. Just not a great experience. If you are looking for a great beer selection, there are plenty of better places in Aspen with local beers.

First off I want to start off by saying that me and my wife travel alot and when we travel, we always seek out a local brewery to visit. I mean we are so serious about it… it’s in our wedding vows haha. In the course of 3 years we have traveled the country and visited 50 plus breweries, partaked in multiple tours, and enjoyed the brewpub scene. It’s a hobby of ours. However I was so impressed with this one, I felt compelled to write my first Unilocal review about a brewery. So here it is Site: located upstairs from a restaurant is a nice, quant area with a bar area and tables. There is also a patio that gives you an awesome view of the ski mountain area surrounding aspen. Best view of any brewery I have ever been to. Also I know some have wrote that they wish that there was finger food… and there is. Just ask for a menu and you can order food from the downstairs restaurant and they will bring it to you. Staff: Justin was manning the taps that day… and really the only way I can put it is this dude is the shit… coolest, laid back, guy we met in aspen. Really friendly, talkative but not to talkative… the kinda guy you meet and say if I lived here I would want to hang out with him. his was very knowledgeable about each beer, explained the brewing process of each, and was attentive. Seemed to love his job. If I was to start a brewery, I would find a way to recruit him away from ABC…(which would probably never happen because we live in tulsa and he looks out the window at mountains every day.) Selection: great beer selection, we shared the flight first and chose the special collaboration release bier de garde with Casey brewing and it was excellent. Beer matched each style guideline with it own local twist. They also had root beer for those who do not partake and kiddos. Summary: This place is my vision of a brewery… Breweries, at one point were the local unofficial town hall. Where people came together to enjoy each other company from all walks of life over a pint. With the tremendous service, friendly staff, great beer, and great selection I put this brewery as a must visit. In my book it is #1 in regards to what a brewpub should be

I love this place. I ponied upstairs. And was greeted, and perused the beer list. Ordered my beer and it was a beautiful day so i sat outside. And struck up a conversation with some locals. They have TV’s and its not a douche bag brewery either. Plus sitting on the patio you get a birds eye view of the Aspen Eye Candy walking below.

The great location right in downtown Aspen with a mountain view from the outdoor balcony and the ski shaped flight are the best aspects of this brewery. I wasn’t terribly impressed by any of their beers, and I wasn’t a fan of having a sample of root beer automatically included as one of the 5 tasters on our beer flight when neither of us like root beer.

These guys are super cool and laid back — plus I loved their two dogs! They have two beers that they can, and many more that are made as they please. If you go to their tasting room, you can hang out with the guys who make the beer. They also have some good gourmet popcorn there — black pepper and sea salt, and some kind of sweet version that I unfortunately didnt get to try.

As breweries go, this is the type of place that I want to be! Stellar beer, beautiful views, fun/causal atmosphere, adorable dogs, and friendly(*and handsome — for you single ladies out there ;) staff. What more can a girl ask for? There are TVs to watch your favorite sporting events on. DELICIOUS, gourmet popcorn to munch on while you drink. Good music pulsing through the speakers. Clean bathrooms. And no attitude! Whether you’re a local or a tourist, solo or in a group, you’ll feel welcomed; or at least I did during my 5 night stay in Aspen. Since being back home in Santa Barbara, this is one of the places I miss most in Aspen. I crave the Brown Bear Ale and the IPA! I can’t wait to grab a pint when I return! These guys make you feel like friends instead of tourists. I love This Season’s Blonde and better yet– they allow dogs too! Order a tasting and you get beer samples served on an old ski with logo– it’s a cool presentation. We had a great time socializing and trying the various styles of beer. I will be looking for their beer on my local liquor stores beer shelves. So glad I came in here and tried it! I so want to come back when they have live music too.

Aside from the cool labels and logo, this place just doesn’t seem to be trying very hard. I guess there is not a lot of brewery competition in Aspen. The tables and chairs were just kind of randomly placed beside a ping pong table that couldn’t really be used due to lack of space. Root beer was flat and too sweet. Beers were just okay. There’s just not a lot to recommend here. Nice logo, though.

A solid beer spot Aspen has here. An award winning Saison with sweeping views of Aspen Mountain is what you can expect at this local micro-brewery. My favorite part, however had to be the eccentric locals all enjoying craft beer in their shared local watering home sharing fun tales from the day. Pretzels are also served with freely to counteract the beer perfectly. I also enjoyed an Aspen Blonde that was complimented quite nicely with the Aspen sunshine and wonderful company comprised of friendly strangers.
