Biltmore Village Lodge

I was a little concerned with my friends choice in staying here after reading that bad review about it but it really wasn’t all THAT bad. It was in close proximity to the Biltmore where our friends wedding was held so it was convenient. We could’ve walked there really. Location location, location. It is important.
The room itself was ok. I usually stay in Marriotts so this was a step down from what I’m used to but it wasn’t terrible. The bed was comfy, the room was a little tight for 2 beds. Vanity area was small. There wasn’t a closet but there was a place to hang clothing. The walls were thin and the free breakfast was a little sad, but hey it was free. The place was clean the service was good. If I’m in the area again I’d stay here if I couldn’t find a Marriott to stay in. Not my first pick but not the absolute last either.

My room stunk, the ac didn’t work, the bed was hard, the sheets were like sandpaper, and they didn’t allow me to switch due to the limited amount of dog rooms. All of the other rooms in my party were fine and comfortable. This is my second bad experience here and I will not stay again. Breakfast was frozen microwaveable crap. We dubbed it the «pop tart bar». Stay ANYWHERE else!
