This is a chain restaraunt, and as far as chains go, this one is good. It is NOT authentic Mexican, but in Ashtabula, authentic is hard to find. It is consistent and tasty. The chips and salsa are unlimited.(Some places charge after the first bowl, but not this one!) We have been here more than 2 dozen times and the service has always been good and they can accomodate larger groups of people without skipping a beat.(We’ve been there with groups as big as 15.) Plus, they offer adult beverages…

Only gave it a star because I had to in order to post. I imagine that everyone who is giving this place great reviews and claiming that it’s «authentic» Mexican has never actually had authentic Mexican(or been outside of Ashtabula). This is Americanized Mexican, and not even a good example of it. The margaritas are cloyingly sweet, toxic, and made from margarita mix. The«chilie rellenos» are simply not chilie rellenos, and the cheese used in the food was greasy and low quality. It’s not surprising that I left ½ way through my meal and was sick for the next 24-hours. Seriously, stay away. Any place that willingly gives customers bowls of ranch dressing(yes I saw this at tables next to me) to dip chips in is not authentic.

Very solid, reasonably priced Mexican food. One of the better restaurants in Chicago.

I love this restaraunt! Chips and salsa are unlimited and always taste fresh. Chicken quesodilla is delicious! Magarita night is a great value.

The food was pretty good. We had take out, but the place had good atmosphere and seemed like a good place to eat in and enjoy the décor.

If you want reasonably authentic Mexican food in Ashtabula, this is the place to go. The menu has the quintessential Mexican items, including descriptions for non-Spanish speakers. I love their salsa, rice, and chimichangas. There’s a drink special just about every day. On Mondays and Wednesdays, $.99 drafts. Tequila sunrise and margaritas are $ 1.99 some other days. If you speak Spanish, bust it out. The staff seem to enjoy it!
