Crooked creek is a wonderful place. You do need to become a member, but once you are there are a wide range of things to do. Activities available are: rifle ranges(100 and 200⁄300 yards), two 30 yard pistol ranges, trap and skeet ranges, 5-Stand, dog training/Field Trials, archery range, picnic pavilion, camping, fishing, hunting, education and conservation. Sunday are the shotgun games and are open to anyone so if you want to see the club come on out some Sunday between 10am and 4pm. I looked at a lot of different sportsmen association before joining here and I’m glad I went with Crooked Creek. It’s not so huge that you wont know people but at the same time it’s not so huge that it’s super crowded. A lot of the time I have the pistol or rifle range to myself which is nice for getting some practice in. My wife does dog training/field trials and the other dog people out there have been super helpful. They have sanctioned CMP competitions which are a lot of fun along with a lot of other shooting sports competitions. My kids love coming here and fishing and playing on the little playground. I would highly recommend Crooked Creek to anyone looking for a place for some outdoor activities.
