Walmart Neighborhood Market

Easy in, easy out. The store is consistently clean and well stocked, and I’m happy to say the prices have come down quite a bit since the store opened. The product assortment is always in a state of flux, so don’t get too hooked on any particular item because it might disappear at any time. Prices are generally competitive. Not as much of an assortment of healthy/​low-​calorie items as I would like to see; unfortunately the Food Lion across the street is weak on those, too, so that means a trip to Kroger. The store is open 24 hours but self-​checkout is closed sometime late in the evening and the cashier tends to wander off, so it might take some time to find someone to ring up a purchase late at night. Do not THINK of coming here for produce… it’s amazing how much produce is bruised and rotting on the shelves.

I get in and out in no time. There are several self check out lanes so I rarely have to wait in line to check out. The employees say hello and ask if they can assist me on a regular basis. The BEST thing about this store is the Pharmacy, yes you read that correct, I just said the best thing is the Wal-​Mart Pharmacy. I have never been in a line there, the prescriptions are filled quickly, the Pharmacists are helpful and polite. It is awesome! I almost don’t want to post this because I don’t want them to become overly busy and mess up my secret awesome pharmacy.
