This is a fancy store for adults to buy gifts for children, or themselves. Its merchandise is on the fairyland side with lots of dragons, knights, princesses and what’l mostly expensive and often rarely seen in small towns. In the back is a section of Christmas ornaments and lots of European nutcracker figures. There is also a good selection of cards, fancy paperweights and other dust catchers. This store has been in Asland for decades. The old lady who owns it never seems to get too old to keep it going though she has moved to a smaller apace. I take it Brian B. is either an employee or he came down with some sort of photo frenzy and took 71 photos of the store.

As the previous reviewer stated, the shop owners here are very unfriendly. I keep a close watch on my children and always teach them to be careful in stores. This store which supposedly caters to children, clearly did *not* want children in here. Anytime my children even motioned to touch something the owner was there chastising them. Honestly, I hope they go out of business. There are much better shops in Ashland who actually *like* children. Check out Paddington Station, Small Change for Kids and the huge(and very kid-friendly) Shakespeare Gift Shop.

Wow, I am amazed that a TOY store could be so un-kid-friendly! It is really hard to shop for a toy when the sales person stares over your shoulder at every section, making sure kids don’t play with anything. Crazy!?!
