Oilstop Drive Thru Oil Change

Brought my brand new truck in for a complete service… they forced the transfer case bolt in crooked and now it can’t be undone with out breaking it to change the oil in the case. Stay away from this place!!!

We just had our oil changed at the OilStop in Ashland and had a wonderful experience. Jacob and Chris helped us and were extremely professional and courteous! We will definitely return and recommend to others. Happy New Year!

Bad experience… again. I’ve avoided this oil change place for a few years since they claimed to have changed my transmission fluid a few years back (had a slight hesitation in my automatic transmission and thought a fluid change would help). That didn’t help the hesitation problem, so i took it to my mechanic and when he put it on the rack, he called me over and said the transmission drain plug hadn’t been removed in years (obvious due to road buildup around the plug). They had charged me over $ 50 for that «service»…so i decided to not go there again. Fast forward to today. one of our regular fast change places in town is now a new business, so i tried them again. I asked the price of an oil change, was told $ 41.99 (was offered synthetic oil at $ 69 said no way) and said OK to the regular oil change. Upon review of the bill I was charged $ 54.11 with additions for extra oil, a filter, and a rubber seal that the attendant told me would be free of charge. Apparently not. I’ve had this car 12 years and have never been charged a filter upgrade charge even on a basic $ 29.99 oil change at numerous other places. Beware… they bait and switch and are generally overpriced and tack on extras to the unaware customer.

This place is awesome. I went in a couple days ago needing an oil change and new windshield wipers on my Suburu Tribeca. The mechanics were all extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. And they gave me hot apple cider while they worked :) Unfortunately, my car takes a weird size of windshield wipers that they did not have, but this is Suburu’s fault not theirs and they were able to recommend another place in Ashland. The service was quick, easy, and like I said, very friendly! The price was good too as they went over many aspects of my car, I was able to use a coupon, and I got a coupon for a car wash. Highly recommend!

This is my second oil change ever on my own and it went really well, I was able to use the coupon to get 10 bucks off which was cool too! Would recommend coming here.

My Father in law stopped in before he headed out of town and was completely impressed! They even found a filter that was installed incorrectly which was causing outside air to get in the car without being filtered properly! He says he is going to have his oil changed here when they come to visit every time!

Staff is very friendly and informative. They give you free beverages. I didn’t have any problems with my oil change.

BAD experience. After getting the oil changed developed a DAILY 8 inch dimameter fluid leak. Visited twice asking what the heck. First time they said it was oil seepage. Second visit it was coolant.
Turns out it was power steering fluid. (They don’t know oil from water from power steering fluid? NOT good.)
Now I get to pay for repairs.
Make a different choice!

I’ve only gotten my oil changed here once because I needed to do it quick for a road trip. They did their job, which was to sell me a bunch of crap I didn’t need, which sucked. But the reason this place rocks is because I always bring them my used oil and they always happily take it off my hands, no fee, no hassling, which is really awesome because my neighbors would always make a fuss when I poured it into the storm drain outside my house.

Quick, easy, polite and free beverages.
I’ve been taking my cars here for years without any hassles at all.
They top off my tires and fluids in between oil changes at no charge and always friendly.
My only gripe is that if I only want a quick oil change I would prefer not to be told about my air filter, engine clear, transfer case fluid, yadda, yadda, yadda (I know, it’s your job).
