Kalb Chiropractic Health Center

I highly recommend Dr. Kalb for chiropractic (and acupressure) treatment. He is very experienced, calm, caring, and effective. My story… I came to Ashland from Portland, Oregon to see a few plays and last night during a workout at a local gym I collapsed with pain shooting through my back. My friend helped me up and as soon as I could breathe normally again, I hobbled home (to the B&B). After an internet search, I left a message at Kalb Chiropractic Health Center telling of my anguish and asking for an appointment ASAP. I got a call first thing the next morning from Pam saying they could squeeze me in that morning. I valued the amount of time, thorough questioning, and careful testing Dr. Kalb gave me before deciding on any treatment. He found me out of adjustment, as well as severe tension and muscle issues all along my spine and mid and upper back, and then effectively treated me without causing me any pain. From previous experience in Portland, I knew I needed 2 – 3 treatments in a row for this type of injury. His only open appointment the next day was during our afternoon play. So we wouldn’t have to miss the play, he said he would stay after his regular office hours so he could treat me again (at 6:10pm). My third appointment will begin with a location specific massage (who works with Dr. Kalb and takes my insurance, as well) and then time with Dr. Kalb. Even after only one visit, I feel better and I can tell how much Dr. Kalb cares about his patients. I am looking forward to my next two appointments with him, and then heading back to Portland with my injury well on its way to recovery!

Dr Kalb has helped me through injuries, dance contests, and healthy aging for many years. He is always informed on latest health treads and spends the time needed to educate and inform with being judgmental. Now that I’m in my 50s he is helping me get back into shape and achieve a fitness dream on my bucket list. Highly recommend Dr Kalb!
