Dave did a great job, was on time with scheduling, had great follow through and did the job for a reasonable price. What more can you ask for. I would recommend him to anyone.

After struggling a bit to find someone to remove a tree and advise us on another, we found Dave through his Unilocal reviews. He and his crew are great! He was more than knowledgable about the issues with our trees, and he and crew did a great, careful job of removal of a large cedar very close to our house and above our garden. He also recommended against removal of another tree that we thought was stressed. Highly recommended!

Dave is awesome! He came out on Christmas day and rescued my nephews brand new quad-​copter drone from high in a tree. Who does that? He must secretly be Santa Clause!

We have a friend in Phoenix who used Artisan Tree Care and raved about their service and the price. We called the owner Dave and told him we were leaving town but wanted to get a tree cut down. He adjusted his schedule and came out to our place and did a great job using his bucket truck. He quickly and expertly took down our tree. We told him that we wanted the wood chips for our garden and he made us a great pile. Chris took all the limbs and ground them up. Everything was cleaned up perfectly! Artisan Tree Care ranks number one in my book!!! They helped me with a gigantic 50 year old Chinese Elm last week that had masses of heavy weighed-​down branches that were starting to break off. They did the BEST trimming of this tree that I have seen in the 17+ years that I have lived with it in my yard. Dave gave it a perfectly sculpted and neatly compacted shape, and now it looks stunningly beautiful. He worked from the outside in, instead of only thinning it out. He is a true tree artisan! Plus, they were super nice, super professional, and did the BEST clean up job that I have ever seen. They showed up promptly when they said they would, and worked skillfully and tirelessly until the job was complete. The estimate they gave me was exactly what they charged me. I cannot say enough good things about the service provided by artisan tree care! Dave and his partner, Kris, are professional, thorough and very efficient. We had them take a look at a tree we needed removed. The job was completed within a week. In addition to providing stellar service, their prices are very reasonable. Dave and crew are amazingly talented and experienced! They removed four giant (over 100′ tall) poplars from our ½ acre yard (surrounded by houses and gardens). They were so skilled, hard working and thorough, and this hard work was done on the hottest days of this summer! They did a great job felling, chopping chipping and taking away the massive amounts of down wood, even putting aside what I wanted to save and spreading chips for us. They were very respectful of our neighbors and of fences and gardens and kept us in the loop with all aspects of the job. All this accomplished in 7 days! We interviewed many local businesses for this job and Dave McNeil stood out amongst all the others. We highly recommend him!

Artisan Tree Care recently dropped a large fir for me at Lake of the Woods. Dave showed up on time (on a Saturday), assessed the job and put it exactly where he wanted it to go. Thorough, safe, and methodical would be how I’d describe his method and I am very happy with the work. This was a large — 43″ at base — tree and way more than I wanted to tackle on my own. I would recommend this company without hesitation.
