This is a nice open space to enjoy the weather, people watch, and eat your take out. It’s not as crowded as you would expect and they tend to hold events nearby.

A nice open space with a memorial to Civil War governor Zebulon Vance. Even on a quiet Sunday morning, this is a lovely spot to sit and look around with the Asheville Art Museum nearby and a great view towards the downtown areas of the city. Restaurants and parking nearby too.

Pack Square is an amazing downtown space to relax in and play with kids and friends. Too many festivals here to count, outdoor live music. One charming event is the summer series Shindig on the Green. Free bluegrass, clogging, mountain heritage.
The conservancy does owe the city millions for the Park they were supposed to build… soooo join and tell them to get at it!!!
