OWL Bakery

It’s no contest OWL has the best baked goodies in all of Asheville. Their pastries look like edible art. The ingredients are mostly local and seasonal. The offerings are very much in line with the seasons. Apples for fall, asparagus for spring, chocolate for everyday.
I first came across this bakery at a bread festival and I have had the pleasure of watching it evolve from a weekly email newsletter to pop up shops and now working towards a physical location. I am ecstatic to go up a pant size for their baked goodies.
From shortbread cookies to tarts and palmers they have mad baking skills. They use fun flavors like earl grey lavender, coffee cardamom, strawberry honeysuckle. Even the simplest sounding offerings of apple pie has the twist of brown butter to make it extra special and uniquely theirs.
I recommend you check out the website and weekly offerings. Then when they open up their physical store go and have your mind blown with the most wonderful pastries ever!
