I have to share my experience with Mitchell’s Tuxedo. I reserved a tuxedo for a holiday performance of Cantaria, Gay men’s chorus of Asheville, but was unable to preform due to illness. When I went to reserve another tuxedo for our Valentine’s Cabaret and was told that since I was not able to use the tuxedo the previous time there was no charge. I really appreciate their customer service.

Mitchell’s Tuxedos is the only place I refer friends and family to for their tuxedo and business suit needs. Despite being in the Asheville Mall surrounded by big box store, Mitchell’s is a family owned local business that has been serving WNC for over 30 years. The owner Kathy is extremely community oriented and absolutely wonderful at customer service. They offer a staggering selection of colors and suite types, and can easily color match just about any scheme necessary. The attention to detail they pay to each item of clothing is amazing, and they really are the best priced in town. While dealing primarily with rental, the suits and tuxedos they choose to retire are available for purchase at a reduced rate. Kathy and her staff consistently work in the community to feed back and it really shows. If you need a business suit or tuxedo for a black tie event or wedding, Mitchell’s Tuxedos is the only place I trust in town.

While shopping for Tux’s for my wedding coming at the end of this month. Mitchell’s provided the Style we wanted at a better price ($ 25 less then the other place for rental of the same suit) The attendants are most friendly and knowledgable. I will going to Mitchell’s for my suit rentals for now on. –Aaron

My husband and I came to Asheville to take the outdoor wedding photos we never got on our wedding day. He owns his own tux from our wedding but I forgot to pack it and we didn’t realize we didn’t have it until an hour before our scheduled photo shoot! My hair, make up and everything else was done and he had nothing to wear and we were two hours from home. We thought the whole thing was ruined, but we started calling around Asheville to see about getting a tux rental at the last minute (during prom season on a Friday afternoon). Men’s Warehouse laughed us off the phone, but Mitchell’s came through and had my husband ready for the camera in about 15 minutes! They totally saved our day and our pictures are stunning. I am so thankful for a helpful business like Mitchell’s. I highly recommend them for their great service. Thank you Mitchell’s!
