We love jcrew and shop their stores often. However, I would not return to this one. The tall blond clerk with short hair was very cold and not helpful. She was so rude my husband wanted to leave immediately. She was curt with her answers and never thanked us for our business. There are many other jcrew stores that offer helpful and friendly staff. I gave it two stars because they have a men’s section.

This J. Crew is no longer a Collection store as the other review here suggests. It’s got a normal selection now and a great sale section. I suppose I came rather off-season, but the store was relatively quiet which made for relaxing browsing. The staff is friendly and accommodating though I didn’t buy anything. The Tudor-style architecture gives it a special touch though the clothes are no different from your average J. Crew.

So, interesting that no one has placed this shop up here, but perhaps no locals shop there… or no locals are on Unilocal??? Regardless, this«high end» and with dress shirt prices floating just below $ 100 and suits running up way above $ 500, it isn’t for the faint of heart budget wise nor penny pinchers. The staff is helpful and professional and they actually check on you in the dressing room… something I find is just about never done in any store in this town. They have everything except shoes… which is a disappointment, but like Banana Republic… both which carry shoes, don’t in secondary markets. Not to say this store doesn’t have it all… because it does… just not shoes. Finally, in the back on the right side they have sales racks… and discount up to 40% off items that sometimes are even 40% off already. so scoring a deal is very possible here.
