In April 2016 this store advertised a USED Gibson Les Paul Studio in faded finish for $ 900 stating that it was «priced below anything comparable» to use their exact wording. $ 900 plus sales tax would have made the total $ 963. Priced below anything comparable? Really? I did the research online and found the EXACT guitar NEW, WITH FACTORY WARRANTY (WHICH FINKELSTEINS CANNOT OFFER), FREE SHIPPING, AND NO SALES TAX FOR $ 799 AT THREE WELL KNOWN ONLINE MUSIC STORES. Regarding comparisons of USED Gibson Les Paul Studios since their guitar is USED, on the same day this review was posted, a USED Gibson Les Paul Studio in the exact finish could be had for $ 599 WITH ORIGINAL HARD CASE at the same online site by a different seller. Yet another was offered at the same site by another seller for a mere $ 480 with no defects or damage. Other Gibson Les Paul Studios with a variety of finishes were available on the same day priced from $ 599-​$ 659 at regional large retail stores. So there are clearly many options regarding price, warranty, sales tax, and professional service after the sale, than Finkelsteins. And yes, I have supporting documentation. LOOK VERY CAREFULLY AT ANY GUITAR FOR SALE HERE TO SPOT DEFECTS AND ANY NEED FOR REPAIRS. This store boasts being in business proudly for 113 years, so they should know better than to price used instruments at new prices. It is completely fair to hold management accountable for pricing practices which are not consumer friendly.

Great finds in estate jewelry — clean, week run shop. Do visit you’ll be surprised at what you find. Their safes are fro the late 1800’s — oh if only they could share their stories!

Very friendly staff! I literally did over half my Christmas shopping here. Their prices are unbeatable! The store is well laid out. They have a little of everything! They had something I was interested in so I called a few weeks later about it. The staff was incredible. The person I talked to had to check on it and gave me a call back within minutes. The customer service is amazing! FYI: if you are looking into a computer, ask for Jacob! What a great guy! I recommend this place hands down. Been to plenty of pawn shops in the area and this is a winner!!! I will definitely be doing alot more shipping here!

Very classy and respectable place ! This is technically a pawn shop, but it feels more like a antique shop.
I got my engagement ring there and was curious if the diamonds were really what they claimed to be. It was a beautiful ring and it was on sale, the price sounded too good to be true !
I took the ring to an appraiser and the ring was 4x more than what we paid for it… My fiancé and I were blown away!
We received amazing service and were told they had free sizing for my ring, which would take one week.
This is where we are going to get our engagement rings for the wedding. Thanks guys!
