I was visiting Asheville NC, found my way into Eathguild. What a fun place. As a novice weaver and experienced knitter, I thoroughly enjoyed all the goodies stocked on the shelves. I found the staff to be very helpful, not only answering my newbie questions, but providing suggestions that didn’t include purchases. The weaving and spinning supplies in stock was wonderful. They are really filling a niche that other fiber/​yarn shops aren’t. Looking forward to my next visit already.

I shop here occasionally for clay supplies and jewelry wire. It is a very nice place with friendly, local people. Prices are actually pretty good and I like experimenting with various crafts.

a great supply shop for serious craftspeople. A good selection of yarns for knitting, crochet and weaving, plus roving for spinning and felting, leather, bookbinding materials, papermaking, clay/​ceramic tools, beads, dyes, and a large selection of craft books. Also looms, spinning wheels, etc. Specialty items like natural dyes, linens, twines, basketry supplies, etc. Reasonable prices. I’ve been going here for years.
