Blaizing Lotus Healing House

Love this place! Booked a 90 minute Swedish massage with Meredith and it was the best Swedish massage I ever received. Meredith went out of her way to review my personal tastes before beginning. I appreciated the fact that she asked about pressure on varying areas, rather than the general question «soft, medium or hard?» She paid attention, as she applied varying degrees of pressure to my scalp, limbs and back — all as preferred. Additionally, she incorporated hot stones and varying techniques that very much enhanced the experience. Blaizing Lotus has a cozy atmosphere given it’s in an old house and everyone was warm and inviting. The massage table was extra soft and heated, rounding out a very great experience. I’ve already booked my next appointment.

This was one of my first stops since moving to Asheville. The FIR Sauna and surrounding space is private, inviting and a excellent offering on a cold day. Ella is also a very knowledgable acupuncturist with an awesome disposition and insight into patient needs.

I visited Blaizing Lotus 2 days in a row during a recent trip to Asheville. Everyone here is extremely friendly, and the space is welcoming and relaxing. I really love how this is a home turned into a healing center… it adds a welcoming feel to the space that you don’t get with other massage centers. I also really appreciated how I was greeted by name. Based on my appointment time, it was obvious who I was, and they immediately called me by name when I walked in. Really nice way to welcome and recognize your clients!
On the first day, I started with 30 minutes of far infrared sauna. It was hot. And it felt fantastic. I apologize for all of the toxins I left behind because it has been one hell of a year. But, wow. Following the sauna, I had a custom mix massage with Trevor. This was one of the most relaxing, yet therapeutic massages I have had in a long time. Trevor knows what he is doing and I would highly recommend his massages. My chronically messed up neck is now in a happy place thanks to his skill. I wish I lived in Asheville so I could become a regular.
On the second day, I had Thai massage with Dominique. I have previously only had Thai massage is small doses, so this was a newer experience for me. It was amazing. It’s like massage, with stretching, and yoga. Dominique is very intuitive and gifted at what she does. Prepare to be twisted and stretched and it feels just amazing. Dominique uses her feet to massage your back and shoulders and it is really amazing how intense that can be… in a good way. I’m hooked and I can see why Thai massage has such a following.
All in all… please give this place a chance. The therapists are wonderful and knowledgeable, and it is an experience that you don’t get at other massage centers. This group truly cares about healing and they are passionate about what they do. If I lived in Asheville, I’d be here all the time. Definitely 5 stars… if only I could afford to fly out here once a month!

Husband surprised me with a 60 minute mixed massage. It was amazing! The ambience was wonderful and the services were really incredible. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I got great massages, yesterday. Atmosphere is relaxed, staff is super professional and friendly. Massage was very relaxing and all the free extras were a pleasant surprise. Can’t wait to return.

I went to Allie for a massage before she acquired the beautiful space that is now the healing house. She is one of the most talented people practicing massage in my humble opinion. I recently returned to the healing house for a sauna which is one of the most inviting places to go to for the plethora of services they offer. Huge open spaces greet you as you walk in from the private parking. Allie and staff have a very down to earth vibe without to sacrificing the professionalism or knowledge you seek at these places. I hear and have witnessed the stand off experience coming from other providers in this field but trust me this is not that. You won’t feel overwhelmed or not welcome here, and you will most certainly leave feeling more rejuvenated than when you arrived. Great place. Will return.

Me and my wife booked a massage here while we in Asheville on vacation. They were extremely accommodating in getting us in on short notice. The massage itself was wonderful for my wife and myself .The awesome therapist talked to us before to see what we wanted and ensured we enjoyed the nassage. We even stayed around and chatted for a few minutes and really enjoyed the conversation !
Will be back at the end of this month and will definitely be booking another session !

My husband and I have become regulars at Blaizing Lotus and highly recommend the facility and the therapists. Allison and Karine are first class therapists and run a comfortable, clean and serene establishment. I am addicted to a 90 minute therapy. The massages are always customized to what we need that particular day with great additions such as hot stones and cupping.

I have been to probably 15 different therapists in my life and have always been searching for the best massage and in the past have been left disappointed. I just had the best massage of my life from Allison. She was thoughtful and thorough. She added so many bonus items at no extra charge and spent extra time with me. I was truly relaxed and bliss-​ed out. I will be a regular from now on.

Willow and Ally (spelling?) were amazing. I would totally come back regularly if I lived in Asheville. My husband and I had couples massages.

Allie and Willow are amazing, went with my Father as part of a Father’s day weekend thing. Both of us attest that this is the best massage ever. They offer more services, even though I live in Colorado, next time I’ll opt in for Some Thai Yoga!

Allison and Aiyanna couldn’t have been more warm, welcoming and professional. Both the staff and facility made you feel comfortable and appreciated while still being efficient (electronic kiosk for patient Forms) and extremely clean.
The treatments we received were first rate, thorough and not cookie-​cutter in their approach. Both adjusted to meet our needs and actually exceeded them. This combined with the other inclusive elements of stones, aroma and cupping therapies made for a wonderful experience that was also a great value.
We will return to this gem and these beautiful ladies on future visits and certainly recommend Blazing Lotus. Thank you!

Best massage I have ever had. With all the traveling, I’ve been to many great places and Blaizing Lotus is absolutely the best. The owner is a fantastic therapist and really cares about her clients. The business is so well run, massage is competitively priced, and all the typical «add-​ons» are included in the one price. Impressive.

My husband booked a couple’s massage for us in December. It was wonderful. We got a hot tub soak and then our massages from the two best, nicest women ever. It was simply amazing.
We’ve had a couple stressful weeks lately, and last night talked for about 15 minutes how we wish we could drive the 5.5 hours to Asheville for a Blazing Lotus massage. Still talking and dreaming about it 5 months after the fact deserves 5 stars,

This is an awesome place y’all. My hubby and I were in Asheville for our anniversary/​vacation and I wanted us to have a great relaxing massage. We were not prepared for the most amazing massage we’ve ever had. We both got the hour session and had all the enhancements. My word y’all…I was mush for two whole days. I’m terrible with names but the young lady was on it with the pressure I needed to work the knot that I’ve had in my shoulder for nearly 6 months all the way out and it hasn’t returned. My hubby fell asleep during his so I know his massage was as good as mine… lol. We’ll definitely be going back.

While vacationing in Asheville, we chose to visit Blazing Lotus for a 90 minute couples massage. We were their first couples massage in their new location, which was a beautiful old house and easy to find. We were greeted by Allie and Shay, who took time to talk us about what we were looking for in our experience. The massage room has a very peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, and the whole house was beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the deluxe enhancements to our massages, including aromatherapy, dry brushing, cupping, and hot stones massage. We felt that both Allie and Shay were very thorough, knowledgeable, and experienced with their craft, and we left the experience feeling throughly relaxed. We would highly recommend Blazing Lotus to anyone looking for a great massage experience, in a peaceful environment, for a great value. Thank you for a great experience!

I was in Asheville recently for a weekend of hiking and came across Allie on a different site. Glad I made the decision to contact her! The session was amazing and one of the best massages I’ve had! Little did I know the session would not only include aromatherapy, but also hot stones, cupping, stretching and a heated table! Allie is a truly gifted healer and cares deeply about the overall person and their well-​being! Whether you’re a local or just passing through, you’d be hard-​pressed to find a massage therapist who offers so much of herself, her gifts and talents at this value! An amazing session! Best massage ever. Allie and Willow (I got the 4-​handed massage) asked me what my problem areas were and then tailored the massage to me – mixing different kinds, so it was some swedish, some thai and some i-don’t-know-what. I do, however, know that it was amazing. Oh, and seriously affordable. I’ve had expensive massages at fancy, high-​end, found-​it-​in-​a-​magazine spas, and they didn’t even come close to Blazing Lotus. The whole experience was fantastic.

I have been in the landscaping business for years and the repeated labor has done a number on my body. Over the past few years I have tried several different massage therapists and chiropractors but none have come close to providing me the comfort and relief that Allie Nova has accomplished. Her comprehensive approach at massage — a combination of Esalen, Lomi-​Lomi, and Thai techniques accompanied by aromatherapy, hot stones, acupressure, cranial sacral and reflexology — reaches all the deep aches and locked muscles leaving me in a place of complete relaxation. I have paid much more for similar massages at high-​end spas and they don’t hold a candle to the work you will get done at Blaizing Lotus.

That was a fantastic massage! Not only is Allie a warm and kind person but she is also a great practitioner. She also incorporated bio freeze, stones, and scents to make the experience fantastic. Far above anything you will get at a resort!
