Finally got to try this today. The pork bbq is the most tender we have every had. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing. Can’t wait to try the ribs and brisket.

This bbq spot is off the chain. Had ribs and pull pork sandwiches and was ridiculously good.

Finally tried this place, off Cascades parkway in Sterling. They are open only Fri-​Sunday 11am until they sell out! I got the full rack of ribs (at $ 20 it was well well well worth it!!!) and my boyfriend got a pulled pork sandwich. Each came with a small side of beans and coleslaw. Yum! The ribs were everything I could have wished for and more!!! When I say fall off the bone I mean it! They were juicy and slathered in delicious BBQ sauce. The full rack was huge, and I got to enjoy these delicious ribs for 2 days! My boyfriend inhaled his pulled pork, and raved about it to our friends. We’re so happy we finally pulled off and tried this little food truck. We’re looking forward to trying the chicken next week, they were already sold out when we got there at 2 pm this time, so we know now to come early! I highly recommend this place! Not only are you supporting small business but it is true at home southern cooking style, soo good!

Reviewing a closing time, pulled pork experience only.
Pulled pork was all they had left. It’s AWESOME! My favorite pulled pork of all time. This stuff is tender and juicy, but not soggy. The sauce is sweet, tangy, and smoky, but very smooth and well balanced. It answers to my bbq sauce particulars.
Dude in the truck, i did not ask his name;my bad! So nice and helpful, i think he is the owner, Stephen. His demeanor prompted a second visit. No matter how the food turned out, i would have went back anyways to try the rest of the menu.
Great bbq stop. I cant wait to go back. If the ribs are as good as the pulled pork i am in for good times ahead! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Can be better, looks like pre made food and just heat it before serving.

i don’t know what happened from last year but this time the ribs was terrible it was like he sold me a big sloppy box of fat and the baked beans taste like they were poured from the can into the container

Ordered full rack of ribs, two pork BBQ sandwiches, beans and Mac and cheese… Price was ~$ 50.
I enjoyed the ribs, sandwich and beans… But the Mac and cheese was off the hook.
I will go again, plan to try the brisket next trip… My quest for a Q company replacement continues.

Just got back from eating in their parking lot. We ordered the ½ rack of ribs, a pulled pork sandwich and two drinks. Our total bill was $ 21. For that you got 6 ribs and a medium sized sandwich. The portion size for the ribs was HUGE, but I felt a little let down with the portion size of the sandwich for $ 8. You can go down the road to Urban and get a GIANT sandwich for close to the same price.
Don’t get me wrong, the meat was good. Falling off the bone and had a good flavor, but I feel like for a food truck (or trailer rather), it was a little over priced. There were no picnic tables, or seats for you to utilize, so either get it to go, or sit on their retaining wall.
Maybe because it was the first weekend they were open, but they didn’t have mac and cheese, which was disappointing.
After driving 30 minutes for BBQ, and eating in their parking lot, I’m afraid to say we won’t be back. Just seemed like too much hassle and not enough payoff.

Pulled pork is awesome. I’ve also had the ribs and they were money, too. I wish they’d park this RV in my driveway.

Excellent BBQ! Great quality. I love the beef brisket and pulled pork sandwich. One of the best places to eat in Ashburn.

Hands down some of the best BBQ around. Had the pulled pork sandwich and plan to be back to try the brisket. Nothing better than local small businesses that meet or exceed expectations.

Amazing BBQ, different then a lot of places in the area. Really great smoky/​sweet combination. This is a must try for any BBQ fan. We had the pulled pork, brisket, ribs, Mac and cheese and bbq beans. The star is the amazing sauce which pairs perfectly with all the meats we tried.
This is also not your typical food truck, it’s a food bus, and the guys inside seem passionate about what they are doing, and it shows in the food. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic BBQ! We tried the ½ rack of ribs, ½ chicken, and pulled pork. All were absolutely delicious. Cooked/​smoked just right and their proprietary sauce was very tasty. Prices were excellent for the portion size; $ 12 for the ½ rack of ribs that could feed 2 people. The two gentlemen running the food truck when we visited were also very friendly and polite.

Really great BBQ! Sauce is different too which is great. Got to try the pulled pork sandwich and the ribs. Both were excellent. Tried the kids ½ chicken meal and that was great too. Was disappointed we couldn’t try the Brisket… They had only been open 1.5 hours and were out of it already! It must be something! Can’t wait to try it next time! Maybe when it gets warmer they’ll have some seating area for folks.

I’ve been by the bus 3 times since it opened and have had the pulled pork, ribs, chicken, and brisket. I’m a fan of all the local bbq companies, but the brisket here is the best in the area. The sandwiches have a generous portion of meat, and the ½ chicken is incredible for the price. Very good coleslaw too.

Really great BBQ. Rib was definitely the way to go, but the pull pork and the chicken certainly stand on their own as well. Brisket was good, but lost some point for not quite on the same level as other offerings. The cold slaw was refreshing, the beans was delightful and not heavy. Above all else tho, the sauce, OMG! Nothing will taste bad with that sauce. Its a tomato base sauce, with a kick, and some smokiness.
My one tiny disappointment, on the day of my visit, no cake. I guess they are still trying to build up a client base, and has not brought out everything yet.
I’m happy to see them here, I’d love if they stay and continue with all the yummyness.

MAN, when I tell you I LOVE Taste-​O-​Southm I LOVE THEM! That brisket, is EVERYTHING! You are not going to find BBQ anywhere better in the DMV! As long as they are here, there is no need for me to go to Famous Dave’s or anywhere else. An How could you not love that Apple BBQ Sauce? With affordable prices, if you have a chance to try them, do it. You will not be disappointed.
