The sushi is cheap and good, the staff is super friendly and quick. They can make anything you want just ask and they are happy to oblige. They have tables and chairs if you want to dine in or in my case I got it Togo and they offered chopsticks which was packaged nicely with some soy sauce packets and napkins. I would certainly come back and eat here again.

I love to support the small family business especially when the food is good too. I have albob bowl which is combination of fish egg and fish and it is good. My wife likes the spicy sushi here and my son loves his miso soup and unagi bowl.

Great place for pick up. The food is quite authentic. Tried the chicken bibimbap and loved it.

We bought one of their medium sushi platter(rolls only) because family came to visit. Because it was a weekday, we only had to call 3 hours in advance, and when I got there it was ready to go! My whole family(including me of course!) loved it! On another note, the bi bim bap(although they call it bi bim bob) is really good too! Everyone who works there is so friendly. I love this place. :D

Don’t let the quaint name fool you, these guys make sushi better than most chic restaurants at much lower prices. Tucked in the left front corner of the grocery store, this may be one of Ashburns best kept secrets.

This review is only for the noodle portion of the menu. I really craved for a warm spicy Korean noodle soup on a rainy day. I stopped by the Lotte Market to give Mr. Sushi and Mrs. Roll a try. I purchased the pre-packaged sushi there a couple of times and felt that the quality of the sushi was pretty decent. I placed an order for the Seafood Spicy Noodle Soup. It cost about $ 10. The price was similar to other places. I have tried this noodle soup at multiple different Korean restaurants. So, I have an idea on what it was supposed to be like. I expected to see the traditional Jjampong. But I was a bit disappointed when I saw the bowl. I expected the spicy, savory soup with a lot of flavor. But the soup base tasted kind of like packaged soup and very bland. The noodle was overcooked and mushy. The shrimps were those super small precooked shrimps. This is definitely not a place I would recommend anyone who wants a bowl of warm noodle soup.

I was so excited when this kiosk opened inside of Lotte Plaza in Ashburn. The owners are so friendly — and really care about the customers. They quickly remembered my name, our food allergies, and the kids’ preferences. We have tried the sushi, hot foods, platters, different bowls and salads — everything is fresh and delicious!

This is my favorite sushi takeout in NVA. Their sashimi rice bowl is the bomb! I love their salmon sushi, all their rolls, the price is just fantastic, there’s really nothing more to wish for! They are really busy so call ahead for pick up.

Sushi was really good for the price. Had a pretty good variety and everything tasted fresh. Located inside a supermarket so very limited seating.

This place is awesome! I gave it a try based on the high rating, and it did not let down. The sweetest woman ever(Mrs. Roll, I presume) took my order. I had Tuna and Yellowtail Sushi as well as the«Spicy Tuna Crunch Sushi». I ate it in their little seating area there, and got a free bowl of miso soup with it! The fish was not only beautifully plated, but super fresh and delicious. The Spicy tuna crunch was fantastic! the crunchy rice on top was like homemade Rice Krispies, and the spicy sauce drizzled over the top had just the right amount of kick. I will definitely be going back, and hope to try more of the menu. The price was also a steal for the quality of the food. I could not recommend this place enough.

Best teriyaki chicken bowl of my life. Think I ordered the wrong thing last time, but now I know to order this from now on!

Decent sushi for cheap! If you’re craving sushi and you don’t really care to sit in at a nice restaurant, this place hits the spot. I got the 10 pieces of sashimi/4 pieces of sushi combo for $ 10.95, which honestly had similar quality to some mid-tiered sushi restaurants I’ve been to but for MUCH cheaper. However, I wasn’t a fan of the rice on the sushi– it was dry and not appetizing. The beef yakisoba was also okay, but I think I’ll stick with just the sashimi if I ever come back.

My family and I have picked up some sushi from here plenty of times. We’re pretty picky about sushi, but we all collectively enjoy Mr Sushi & Mrs Roll. They like to prepare their sushi fresh and their prices aren’t bad either. Even if they don’t have the roll out, they are more than happy to make it for you. I definitely recommend stopping by when you feel like grabbing some sushi.

The sushi is made quickly, and brought out to you, if you dine-in. There is limited seating, and it’s SUPER cold in there(tables are right near the chilled beer and wine section), so be forewarned. BRING A JACKETINTHESUMMER! The food was delicious. I ordered a california roll for only $ 3, a shrimp/crab roll, and my bf ordered some kind of baked shrimp roll. The latter two were around $ 6-$ 7. The baked roll came with a decent amount of sushi, and was a little spicy. Delicious, though. They gave us two miso soups(complimentary) for dining-in. Great! The only thing is that I would avoid getting a bulgolgi bowl, since the sushi fills you up. Stuff yourself with sushi galore, and enjoy! Cheap eats.

For a low price lunch that gets you away from the fast food. This is the spot. Friendly service and good tasting food.

The price-to-quality ratio here is outstanding. And the owners/managers(Mr. Sushi and Mrs. Roll?) are really friendly and flexible. Love it!

Delicious sushi! The prices are amazing! Better sushi than most of the other sushi restaurants in the area and way cheaper! Their miso soup is great and so is their seaweed salad. And, again, they are so cheap compared to the other restaurants.

This is a food stall located inside of the Lotte supermarket. They offer a variety of rolls including hot baked rolls too(I haven’t tried those yet, but that hot box has always been empty when I pass by). There typically aren’t that many readily available to go in the display counter, but they will make it for you on the spot. The thing is that they don’t necessarily have a set menu for the rolls part, so this can be difficult for the indecisive consumer who doesn’t have an idea of what exactly he/she is looking for. They also offer a few Korean dishes, but the get up is pretty minimal with no Korean spoons in sight(gasp! the horrors!). I tried the bim bim bop which is a mistake here. Everything was fresh, but in general it’s a very sad mix for bim bim bop that costs a little less than $ 10(including tax). You pay at the stall, not at the Lotte cash registers. This place only has 3 to 4 tables that are shared with the Hot Breads stall next door.

I for one have always doubted that my meal would look anything like the menu. My order compared to the pics are usually false hopes of full plates and mouth watering presentations. Well, Mr. Sushi & Mrs. Roll changed that. I love sushi. When the menu offered me a chance to try a variety of rolls for a low price of just 29.99(Enough for 2 full sized or 3 average people«25 rolls»), I had to go for it. Verdict. Nom, Nom, Nom… CONSISTENTGREATNESS!!! Perfect mouth sized pieces. Well presented balance of fish to rice ratio. A picture perfect presentation. What more can I ask for? Well maybe a second helping. Make sure you look out for this place. This tiny store front is located inside the Lotte Market.
