Really enjoyed this stop! My hubby and I both got the brisket. He liked my Brunswick stew so much he had to order his own side. My 8 year old liked her sister’s chili dog so much we had to get another side of chili for her. We were pretty needy customers and the staff was very friendly and patient. Our food came out super fast. Worth the short drive from the interstate!!!

Should’ve stayed on the highway, this is some of the worst bbq I’ve ever had. I ordered the brisket and ribs, both were the equivalent of boiled meat with liquid smoke. Both very tough and extremely fatty. Sides were bland, you ever hear of seasoning or a little salt and pepper. I had been better off with a Mcrib sandwich.

We were on our way back to Nashville from visiting family in Florida. We usually try to stop and try new places along the way. We saw a billboard along I75 and decided to look up the reviews. They seemed mixed, more along the positive side though, so we exited off the interstate and drove the mile or so to Keith-A-Que. This place is located in a small town. The restaurant has a drive thru, a walk up ordering window outside, along with an inside dining area, with a walk up ordering window inside. We decided to order inside and eat there. The menu is located next to the ordering window. We entered the restaurant and looked at the menu. The woman who was working the window wasn’t very friendly at all, almost snappy. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day, but later on, she greeted ‘locals’ in a much more friendly manner. Oh well. I ordered the brisket sandwich with fried okra. We also go the pulled pork sandwich with fries. I ordered a water that tasted like it was from a garden hose, it had a really funky flavor. It didn’t take too long for the woman at the counter to yell our food was ready. The portions were nice for the price. The brisket was full of chewy fat that I need to dissect from it. They have two sauces on the table. One that is hot and one that is mustard based. I liked the flavor of the mustard one over the hot one, and I’m a fan of hot stuff. The fried okra is the kind that you buy frozen at the store, same for the fries. Both were disappointing. The brisket was more tender than the pulled pork. Both needed some sauce on them. Overall I wasn’t impressed with anything. Next time, I will stop about an hour north of this place in Perry, Georgia if we want bbq. There is an awesome placed there called GrillMasters with friendly people and great food.

Very good Brisket! Looks a little scary on the outside, if you don’t know about it, but good food!

Stopped here during a long drive and it was a great value. Really liked the mustard based BBQ sauce. Wife and kid had chicken fingers, which were tender and nicely seasoned. I had the pulled butt /beef combo, also really tasty. Great find for an area where we didn’t expect much selection!

I only give it a 3 because of the bbq sauce selection it was lacking and it was a bit disappointing unlike the ribs they were amazing! I shared the combo for 2 with a friend and added a third side. We shared the ribs copped pork the were cooked to perfection and the pork was sauced and cooked well. If I came back I’d get ribs and the pulled pork(they were out of brisket that would have been my choice). The bread cole slaw and sweet potato fries were good not amazing but nothing to complain about. The Mac and cheese was a basic bbq mac and cheese was average. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean.

Stopped here during a long drive and it was absolutely perfect! We were hoping for some good barbecue in Georgia and Keith-a-Que delivered. I got the rib plate with coleslaw and sweet potato patties. The ribs were fall off the bone good and the sweet potatoes were the best thing I’ve ever had. I have eaten a lot of sweet potato fries but never patties, I don’t think I will ever be happy with fries again! My boyfriend got the pork butt and it was juicy, smokey awesomeness. He also got the barbecue beans(that I couldn’t stop stealing) that were so great, the perfect amount of sweet and tangy. The service was great, so nice and friendly! Thanks for the perfect dinner and rest to continue our drive!

Great!!! Stopped off on our way from Delray Beach, FL to Atlanta. Very«mom & pop» feel, nothing fancy but just what you want in a BBQ joint. My husband had the pork and I had the smoked chicken which I could not get enough of and he kept stealing off my plate… GETTHECHICKEN! Coleslaw was also great!!! Very close to I-75, quick, clean and yummy!

Traveling home from Florida and found Keith-a-Que with my Unilocal ap… it was awesome! First, don’t judge a book by it’s cover… the outside looks a little run down. Inside was a very clean and nice dining room AND restrooms. Our total bill was $ 32 and my husband ordered the ribs plate, I ordered the pulled pork plate«Boston Butt» and we ordered two kids meals. Theresa took great care of us and accommodated our kids with«design your own» kids meals(which was not on the menu but she suggested making cheese sticks a side item when she heard my son asking about them.) The portions were huge… my husband couldn’t finish his fall off the bone ribs and that doesn’t happen… ever. The pulled pork was really the best ever… moist and flavorful. I can’t decide which sauce of there’s I like better, but lean towards the mustard one. The other one has a mustard base too and a tangy flavor. The coleslaw was delicious(both plates came with two sides and bread.) I will totally recommend this place to all my friends traveling past Ashburn, Georgia!

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. I’ve worked in Ashburn for 3 years and I always pass it on my way to work and I love BBQ, so it was going to happen at some point. Tonight, we picked some up and brought it up to work. I ordered a rack of ribs, a combo BBQ platter that had marinated chicken, Boston butt, and some beer-battered onion rings. I also ordered a pint of their Brunswick stew and asked for BBQ sauce on the side. I honestly wasn’t disappointed. The ribs had a dry rub all over them and the inside was moist and well cooked. The sauce was a brown sugar, tomato and mustard-base sauce of some type. It had some heat to it so I imagine there was a good bit of cayenne or something in it. It matched well with everything. The Brunswick stew was some of the best. It’s not the best, but it was very good. Rescue’s(LITERALLY right behind them around the corner) has made better stew in my opinion, but they are not consistent. I tried a piece or two of the Boston butt and it was tasty and also went well with the sauce I’ve definitely had better onion rings, but the onion rings are edible. Some of them were a tad overcooked. I think it needs a fluffier batter of some type. It just tastes very heavy and not light and fluffy as I think it should. Still, delicious nonetheless. Overall, this is a cool little drive-in. Give it a shot and you will likely not be disappointed! Just a little observation: I don’t understand why BBQ in this area gives you a piece of plain bread. Put some butter on a piece of bread and toast it with some garlic salt or something.

Stopped here for some lunch on our road trip. The food was great. I had the brisket, my wife and daughter had ribs and the boys had hamburgers and chopped bbq. I tasted all of it and it was all good. The staff was also friendly and the restaurant was clean. I would definitely stop in again!

Found this place using Unilocal app while heading back go South Fl. First and foremost, the place is well kept and clean, the bathrooms were also well maintained. You will not have a waiter, but its not needed. The food was fresh and very tasty. I had the rib and beef brisket combo, all of the food was juicy and tender. Sweat tea hit the spot!

I’ve drove through Georgia many times and am always searching for a good bbq place. We stumbled upon this place when the bbq restaurant we was going to was closed. After walking in we were warmly greeted by the owner, Keith. I ordered the brisket while my mom and brother ordered ribs and smoked pork but. Everyone was overly pleased with their meals. We all agreed, that while most bbq places have sucky sides, the sides at Keith-a-que only added to the meal. Over all we loved the friendly fast service and delicious food.

Amazingly juicy and tender BBQ at a very fair price! We stopped by on a road trip and are very glad we gave this place a try! Firstly, I can honestly say the Brisket was some of the best I’ve ever had; it was extremely juicy and perfectly tender. Too many places dry out their brisket but Keith-A-Que hit it on the nose with this one! The Boston Butt was just as juicy and tender as the Brisket and it was impeccably delicious with a perfectly smoked flavor. They even got the Smoked Chicken correct in keeping it juicy inside with a crunchy exterior that melts in your mouth! We failed to try a couple sides but the ones we had were delicious! If you’re thinking about sweet potatoes go for the Fried Sweet Potato Pattie, it’s delicious. The Mac-N-Cheese and French Fries were respectable as well. All in all it was a great experience! The people are friendly, the food is great, and the atmosphere is unreal! If you’re driving down I-75 and you’re getting hungry it’s worth the wait to hold your hunger until you get to Keith-A-Que! He even gave me a pin to stick on the map for my hometown, which was not taken yet.(You’ll know what I’m talking about when you stop in.)

Got a great email from the owner. Was very satisfied with his response. I do plan to go back within the next 30 days and I’ll update the review again
