I brought my son to get his haircut — walked in and asked how much a haircut would be and was told $ 15. Not an outrageous price, but slightly high for a kids haircut and probably should have left then.
As my son is getting his haircut — on the wall, it says haircuts for kids are $ 13. And on a flyer on the counter, it says kids haircuts are $ 12. So now I feel like I’m being taken. When I bring this up — there’s some ramble of a story and he still charges $ 15 and asks for a tip.
The haircut is okay. The barber tells me my son has difficult hair?!? All in all, the whole experience was weird and I won’t be back. I’ll drive the extra distance to go to our regular place. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Had a wonderful experience at Ashburn Family Hair Salon today. Barber Sam cut my 5 year old son’s hair. He did a great job and made us smile as soon as we walked in the door with his friendly disposition and spirit. He is very skilled — has been cutting hair since he was 10! — and I will definitely return for future haircuts for my entire family. And the price for a haircut here is extremely reasonable.

I had my best haircut ever. I usually go to Great Clips, as it was Easter Sunday Great Clips was closed. I drove around and found this new place. The barber has been doing this for 40+ years. He is a pro. I never had a hair cut from a proper barber who mastered his skills like this man. He was proper, clean and gave me a clean hair cut and shaped my mustache. He moved from Maryland and is establishing his business here in Ashburn, proper small business with excellent experience. I will go back to him.
