Very cool vibe in this small boutique, chic selections of everything under the sun from hats to perfume to
Clothing. The staff is friendly and helpful in a non aggressive way. Purchased some Dead Sexy patchouli-​esq scent of loveliness. A must when you are in Asbury!

Do not waste your time here. The people are sooooo rude, and the clothes are not even nice. Honestly, there are so many better shops in Asbury.

Either the Foolish Ginger has moved to Manasquan, New Jersey or they opened up a second location. In any case this place has a little bit of everything. Essential oils, hand scented creams, wine glasses, beer mugs, jewelry, clothes, vases, books, the list goes on. It reminds me of a very cool general store. As the window states, great place for gifts.
I’ll be back when I need unique gifts.

This store is one of my favorite places to shop! I live in Chicago and come to visit family in New Jersey and each trip is not complete without a trip to Foolish Ginger. I found Erica’s (the owner) store while walking around Asbury Park one summer. Her taste is so fantastic, if I could I buy one of everything! She has a little something for everything. Erica is terribly attentive to her customers and not to mention so helpful! She has kindly fixed two sets of earring for me that I have misplaced the pair to. She is such a talented artist in that she makes all of her own jewelry! It is stunning and I get so many complements when I wear her jewelry. She has a great collection of baby clothes and gifts as well as a fabulous array of home and kitchen items that are unique and darling. My only complaint is that I don’t live closer to Asbury Park so that I can visit her store more often! A trip to Foolish Ginger is worthwhile and no doubt you will find yourself returning again and again like I do! You will fall in love!

What a little gem of a boutique! I just wandered in here one afternoon while killing time in Asbury Park, and I’m so glad I decided to visit. The place is adorable, and it’s stocked with the cutest finds — jewelry, clothing, accessories, gifts, etc. If you ever need to buy a gift for the person who has everything, you’ll find something new and unique for that person here!
I ended up buying some tiny gold vermeil elephant earrings (the shop owner is a jewelry designer) and a cute vintage-​inspired cardigan with hot pink embroidery. As a plus, the store was taking 10% off all sale items! I was tempted to buy more things, but my bank account would have slapped me.

Loved this place, unique finds– things I actually wanted to buy instead of pick up and look at. As a ginger, I found the name both fitting and fun for photos!

Great little gem in Asbury Park for perfume and jewelry. Everyone who works here is super helpful and pleasant. Great place to wander around and pick up some unique little things.

Foolish Ginger is a wonderful little boutique on Cookman Ave, definitely my favorite place to shop in Asbury. They always have the prettiest clothes and beautiful jewelry, not to mention the cute housewares and accessories. Most of what they sell is in a cute/​pretty/​feminie style which is right up my alley. I’ve lost count of how many beautiful dresses I’ve bought from there.
Owner Erica makes a lot of the jewelry herself, and it is absolutely gorgeous. The only reason I don’t buy more of her jewelry is because there’s simply so much variety and I have trouble choosing. I’m thinking of asking her to do a custom piece for me in the near future. Can’t wait!
