So we thought we give this place a try wish I hadn’t though. My bf orders a pizza his was a put soggy the crust was not crispy I ordered a calzone because that’s what I really wanted the calzone was not even filled with a lot of stuffing it was mostly pizza crust. It really didn’t have any flavor to it, the chicken wings where soggy it seemed like they just put them in the microwave so I had to fix it to make more like chicken wings should be not soggy. The service was really good expect for the way the food tasted. I think I will be going back here any time soon which is a shame since it’s so close to where I live now.

My BF and I go here for pizza it is one of our favorites by far. We usually order 2 pizza’s as I like different things then he does. I once got cheese with spinach and onions and he got the white pizza, they were both yummy. One time we went there we usually get our pizza to go, they made a mistake on our order, BF was happy with it and stated he was going to eat the pizza me I called told them of the mistake and ordered a small pizza, so when I went in they didn’t charge me even though I kept the other pizza. We will be back again.

This place has the best pizza in town. The prices are comparable with other restaurants in the area but the pizza is far superior. The pizza is done pretty quick too.

I stopped in on the spur of the moment, hungry for a pizza after a long day at the office. Ordered a thin crust pepperoni. The lady at the counter told me it is the best pizza around. When I got it home I found it was very greasy, but worse, the crust was doughy. I expect thin crust to crunch when I cut it, and this was difficult to tear apart. Called and told them about the pizza, and she told me to bring it back and she would give me my money back. When I got there she was on the phone and didn’t acknowledge my presence, the cook was standing at the counter and just looked at me, and the money was on the counter. No «Sorry», no «can we make another pie for you?», didn’t even hand me the money. Acted like it was an insult that I would dare to complain. I would have given them another chance if it had just been the pizza, but their rude, uncaring behavior will keep me away forever.

Another great experience with Villa Napoli. Had green chiles instead of red pepeers this time on my usual pizza. Yum. Really good pizza. Great value.

Yikes stay clear from their calzones they are never fully cooked and always raw in the middle. The hot wings must be cooked in the microwave because they were absolutely horrible. The one thing this place has going for it is the Stromboli it’s pretty decent. I really do not understand how this place has been around for so long

Dined in and ordered a pepperoni pizza. Good flavor, a lot of sauce and cheese. The middle was soggy though. Not my thing, but some people may like it. I’ll definitely be back for another try soon so stay tuned for a hopefully 4⁄5 star update because the pizza could have been excellent.

We did a take out order from Villa Napoli on a Monday because our usual pizza place(Randi’s) is closed on Mondays. We got the pizza home and it was HUGE. Unfortunately, it was also insanely greasy… we literally had to wipe our slices of pizza with napkins because of the level of grease all over it. which ultimately effected the overall taste of the pizza… definitely disappointed…

I’m not going to say that this is authentic pizza pie like you’d get in Napoli, or that it’s traditional New York style, or that it’s the Absotively Posilutely Best Restaurant Ever™, but I’ll be honest and say that it’s a great little hole-in-the-wall neighborhood pizza joint in the middle of a hotbed of chain fast food joints down the road from a couple of schools. I’ve been coming here for years(except for that brief stint in the middle where they were either sold to new owners for a time, or just re-branded as «Café 64,» which was trying to be a diner that also sold pizza and figured out what actually brought people in, so they switched back) and plan to come here for many more. The pizza is good, the crust – well, just look through some of the other reviews and you’ll see, even people that rated the restaurant poorly mentioned it was good – is awesome, the cheese is real cheese. The tomato sauce isn’t the end-all, be-all of sauces, but it tastes like tomato sauce and serves its purpose well to separate the fantastic cheese from the amazing crust. The toppings are good, and my favorite is the sausage. The pasta is decent; I’ll admit that I’m always leery of ordering spaghetti I didn’t cook myself because I don’t usually care too much for it, and this place is no exception for that dish. However, it’s one of the few restaurants I’ve found in Arvada that not only know what gnocci is, but actually feature it as a menu item and cook it correctly. It takes a little longer but is worth the wait! The calzones, stromboli, and«pepperoni rolls» are to die for. Seriously, everything that’s good about their crust and cheese and sausage can come wrapped up in a convenient housing, brought straightaway to your waiting hands. I usually order the pepperoni roll for an appetizer for two people, we split it, and each end up eating only a third of whatever entrée we ordered because it’s so huge. So get one. You can thank me later. They carry beer! And soft drinks, too, for you designated-driver types. So sit back and relax and watch the game, or just enjoy a Peroni, the Corona of Italian beers that’s available most everywhere, as a perfect Italian-esque compliment to your down-home-Italian-esque suburban pizza joint cuisine. The staff isn’t super-friendly, but they’re well-meaning. When I’ve been there it’s usually the owner, his wife, or one of the two gentlemen I believe to be his sons. The man himself is from Italy and shows it, down to that gruff but twinkle-eyed exterior and friendly down-home demeanor if you get to chat with him for a while. His sons will get you your food and smile, ask if you need another beer when you run low and they have a moment, and take good care of you if you’re friendly. While they’re not the most openly-engaging people in the world, that’s not what brings me back here. It’s the pizza and the gnocci and the sausage and the pepperoni rolls and the beer. And the knowledge that I’m contributing to a great local Arvada business in the process of enjoying a meal.

Man. I just wish it was consistent. When it’s good, it’s really really good! And when it’s bad, well meh. Drive thru window is nice for pick up orders. I like the patio too

Been getting pizza here for awhile. Service has been up and down. Tried to charge me $ 60 for 2 large pizzas. Argued with me that it was a fair price and then opened boxes to find out they made the wrong pizzas and argued with me again that was what I ordered. Left pizzas on counter and walked out for good. Service to shady do not recommend.

Lived in NY metro for over 10 years. This is not good pizza. Cheese has no flavor. Sauce tastes like unflavored tomato sauce from a can. Crust is very dry and strange. The guy who served me was a walking zombie. I dropped $ 1 into his tip jar which only had $ 1.50 in it and there was absolutely no reaction. Make the trip to The Garlic Knot — those guys make pizza using a recipe from Queens. While it’s not perfectly authentic, it’s the closest you can get in the Westminster/Broomfield/Arvada area.

Small and charming. I had a calzone and it was fantastic. Reasonable. The pizza on my neighbors plate was very attractive too. A good option to hang out and have a bucket of beer, pizza and watch a game. A friend recommended and I wanted to Unilocal after my experience. Pickup is convenient with a drive through that would make it simple to call ahead.

Ugh, some of the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Pizza hut is better, maybe even some of the stuff they sell at King Soopers. My in-laws keep buying this junk when we come to visit. I just can’t understand why AND how this place is still in business. Got into an argument with the owner over a coupon one time. He wouldn’t honor it. Started walking out. Grumbling under his breath… he finally did. Here’s the scenario: I’m starving… eat 2 slices… regret eating the 2 slices… wanna throw up…

Well, what can I say– this is the best place for pizza in all of Arvada. It beats the one of of Ward, even though it more popular. that is for sure– make the few block trip across the elementary school– so worth it :-) Although it is not the most popular and it is more of a hole in the wall, as some other blogger has suggested or another blogger, also pointed out that the specials on pies 2 go are awesome. As to the reviewer/blogger, who put up raw chicken pic shots… who would go to a pizzeria looking for an entrée. If that is want you want then got to an Italian ristorante., not a traditional trattoria. Albeit, this is not necessarily a «good New York slice» from lil Italy in NY(before it moved up to the Bronx). It doesn’t have the NY Olive Oil dripping down to your elbows when eating a slice. «No» this is what you find in Italy from Roma on down to Naples/Sorrento area. It just that good.

This restaurant is a bare bones facility built in an old Taco Bell, but they make some nice pizza. Now, there isn’t a lot of room to sit down, there is no waiter/waitress service, and the place is not immaculately clean,(stay out of the bathrooms!), but the do make a nice pie at a nice price. The daily pizza special is two, good-sized, one-topping pizzas for $ 16.00. The crust tastes homemade, the sauce is tasty, and the toppings are generous. Everything is served on paper — paper cups, paper plates, etc., but who really cares when you get a nice pie at a nice price? It’s not fancy, but I like the pie

This place is surprisingly good. I think they may use San Marzano tomatoes and I will ask the next time I am there; the flavor of the sauce has that light and sweet taste that I associate with San Marzano-based pizza sauce. For my taste, they could leave the pizza in the oven for about 90 more seconds, but aside from that they are doing a nice pie at Villa Napoli. The prices are great and the guys behind the counter are always friendly. Décor-wise it leaves a bit to be desired as it is pretty bare-bones, but you aren’t paying for it, either. I usually get carry-out, since it is located about halfway between work and home. Ordered a pie with pepperoni and fresh garlic the other week and let me warn you about the garlic, big, thick hunks of the stuff studded the pizza like land mines of flavor. Not for the faint of heart. Last time there I got pepperoni and Italian sausage… and I don’t know if I’ll stray from the sausage there — as good as any sausage on any pizza I’ve had in Denver. No joke — this stuff was delicious, do yourself a favor and make sure it is one of your toppings.

I would NOT recommend this place. My husband and I are new to the area and love to try the«local» places where ever we are, you know, support the small man type of thing. So, we drive by, see the empty parking lot, but notice a car in the drive through, and a family doing take out. So far so good. It seemed clean inside and quaint. We went to the order window, no menu posted, but they have one in case you’d like to see one. OK, we’re still good. They have a large cheese pie on a heater in the window, good effect, so my husband decides to order a slice of pepperoni NY style and the same Sicilian. The guy behind the counter grabs a slice of the already prepared cheese and slaps it on the counter for the cook, where they proceed to put the pepperoni and more cheese… It gets better… I decide to go for a «build your own» calzone, chicken, ham and mushroom. You can usually get a good feel for the quality of food if they have to prepare it the way you order. I asked for white sauce(I noticed they had a white sauce pizza on the menu) and was advise they don’t carry white sauce… OK, so obviously they add the sauce on their pies and refrigerate them. We sit down at a small table near the register, my husband wanted to sit outside, but the snickering and sideways glances between the cook and whom I will assume is the manager, my hackles rose. After seeing how they intended to serve a slice of pepperoni I was suspicious. As I watch the cook prepare our food it just seemed too quick, but they brought our food, and though dubious we dug in. While we ate, I continue to watch the kitchen, a lady and her daughter come in, order their meal and go to the patio. They ordered wings, I watched as the manager dumped them on a plate(fresh out of the microwave) and on to a plate, dropping one on the floor, to my surprise he picked it up and put it on their plate!!! So as I eat, the chicken was dry and tasteless and had an odd flavor to it, so I began to pick it out. Now, the bottom was a bit crispy but the top was a nice flaky crust, quite nice. The cheese and marinara, were very good, BUT the ham was not chopped but deli sliced like out of a package and the mushrooms were from a can, they had that distinct preserved brown and slimy texture. So I peal the crust off the top and pick out all of the chicken, I was so sickened by what I found: pieces of chicken that were spoiled and rotten. I lost my appetite at that. My husbands pizza was charred on the bottom from obvious repeated cooking. Again good sauce and excellent quality cheese. Lastly, the manager was sporting the pouty lip full of chewing tobacco and spitting into a Pepsi cup covered with a napkin in the back. I could not make this up. It was a disappointing experience and we will not be supporting this«local small guy» again. One last thing, after looking into the health codes, chewing tobacco is not allowed in a kitchen at all… who knows what else goes on in that kitchen. GROSS! PIctures to be posted soon… when I can figure out how to get them off my new phone.

Dragged the hubband and friend along tonight for some pizza. We got a small white pizza and a gigantic meatza. Crust is really good– crisp on the bottom but soft in the middle. Sauce was tasty. However, the rest of the pizza was surprisingly bland. Not much flavor in the white pizza, and even the sausage on the meatza didn’t have much taste. Regardless, I enjoyed my food and we’ll be going back again. Plus, they have pitchers of beer!
