Been in Arvada for a long time and have never been in here before the other night. Met a friend for a drink and I was pleasantly surprised. For one, it’s hard to find anything open on a Sunday night, especially at 1am, but they were. Pool tables, shuffle board, darts, foosball, this little hole in the wall has a lot to offer! Plus, it’s clean, well lit, the drinks are good and the service is friendly. Pam was bartending and I have no complaints! This little dive bar is a lot less dive bar and a lot more friendly neighborhood bar. Definitely my new favorite and I’ll absolutely be back!

Best neighborhood pub in Arvada! 4 pool tables, 2 shuffle board tables, kickin juke box and great bartenders. Plenty of parking for a quick refreshment. Funky strip center was kind if sketchy.

This is a weird place for a bar. A dive bar to be exact. It’s in a strip mall. Weird… at least for me. It’s a nice enough place. There are a couple of pool tables, a shuffle board table, countless TVs, and a digital jukebox.(I have yet to find a real jukebox in the state of Colorado.) We were the only people in the bar on a Wednesday night; I learned a lot about Vows, the Rockets, and the happenings and history of The Balloon and various other dive bars. My friends and I sat at the bar. The owner and his son were working the first night I went. Friendly, affable people who will talk your ears off if given the opportunity. The second night I went was a Friday. I met a number of colorful Arvada characters in a short amount of time… well, I observed them from afar save the few that introduced themselves.
