Rolling Sands

A very nice little shop in downtown arvada that focuses on yoga and massage accessories. They have a great selection of fair trade, very reasonably priced gifts and accessories too.

We’ve been in Arvada about a year and I’ve been in here a handful of times. I found this amazing blanket that we keep in our car for picnics. I was looking for something that would be large enough for 5 people and a pooch and sure enough they had one. The man that helped me, helped me unfold nearly every blanket to be sure I found just the perfect one for my family. He was happy to help me find the right one and was unphased by the somewhat mess we were making in order to search out the perfect one.
I also was in looking for a new yoga mat. I happened to tear the muscle in the bottom of my foot (gardening in flip flops) and needed something with lots of padding. They had a large selection to choose from with various densities.
Then to top it off, the nice women running the store played several bowls for my little boy. He thought that was such a magical thing and for an employee (or maybe the owner) to take the time to share that with my son was special.
Overall if you need any equipment for yoga, Pilates, meditation or even simple workout tools, this would be a great local shop to hit up.
