This is a cool little collectibles and comic book shop nestled in a strip mall off of 64th and Ward in Arvada. They have a rather impressive selection of current Hot Toys and Sideshow Collectibles 1:6 scale action figures on display in Ikea Detolf cabinets and their prices are on par with their current retail prices. If you are a collector like I am then you know that these are high end licensed collectibles and they are not cheap. They stock a few sold out figures too but they know the current secondary market values and the aftermarket prices are adjusted accordingly. They do accept deposits on pre-orders for upcoming figures and have a website at to order online. It’s nice to have a local alternative for purchasing these hard to get import collectible figures and saves on paying shipping but you will have to pay local sales taxes so it will cost you about the same as ordering direct from Sideshow. They have an impressive wall of carded Hasbro Star Wars 3 ¾″ action figures and toys from the modern era, though they do have a decent selection of vintage Kenner loose items in a glass display case. Prices seem to be reasonably in-line with current secondary market values. They also stock a decent selection of superhero action figures ala DC Direct and Marvel Universe as well as the modern Mattel Masters of The Universe Classics line. The store is nicely organized and looks just like how I would display all of my collectibles if I had the space to display them all. Their comic book selection seems pretty small and relegated to just one corner in the back. They were actually putting together the storage boxes for their back issues while we were there. The owners are super nice. I could tell that Carlos and I share the same passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for collectibles. I’ll be adding Big Top Collectibles to my regular toy and comic book hunting rounds.
