You’ll find an amazing array of bulk spices, candies, flours, nuts, and grains here, alongside Amish medicinal tinctures and salves, jigsaw puzzles, cheeses, cookware, and miscellaneous household goods. Need some sassafras bark? Gluten-free flours? Wasabi-coated soybeans? Whoopie pies? Scrapple? Rennet? It’s all there!

Fresh baked goods are as good as it gets. Many times I pick them up warm out of the oven.

I love this place! Whenever I am in IL visiting family, I always make sure to make a trip up here to stock up on baked goods and snacks! They have the best of everything here. All fresh made stuff, you jut can’t get any better than this! I have never had a bad baked good from here. I guess it’s a good thing I live far away, otherwise this place could make me gain 100lbs! They have a little bit of everything in here, even toys and such for the kiddies! I really wish this Amish store had an online ordering system, as I would totally order so to be mailed out to me in California!

If your a cook, the store allow’s you to let your imagination run wild with the sheer number and variety of spices, seasonings, flavorings, flours, grains available. Even if cooking isn’t your thing, you can still spend hours just browsing and discovering items you almost literally won’t find anywhere else. I won’t say their products are inexpensive, but, they are very affordable. So my response is generally… just buy more. An amazing place tucked in the middle of central Illinois Amish country-where I grew up. I live in Chicago now, but still drive to Beachy’s every couple of months to restock my pantry. Yes, I drive from Chicago to Arthur several times a year to shop at Beachy’s. It’s that special.
