Pretty good boba shop. Their drinks are good but nothing special. They provide free wifi and have nice couches and chairs for you to chill. This place has a very chill vibe. Drinks are on the expensive side but their check in allows for free upgrades to a large which makes it worth the price. Cashiers are friendly and make your drink fast. Overall good place if you’re willing to pay a little more for a drink.

Nice quiet & clean place for computer geek who bore of study at home place. I ordered a jasmine green tea, half sugar, it has a jasmine flavor in to it. Service was nice, the only down thing is every time you use the rest room, you have to get the key, I thought it was inconvenience.

I love the super comfy arm chair couches that they have for seats while you wait for your order or drink some good boba. This place also serves Taiwanese snacks and food in addition to tea and boba. I had their Rose milk tea without boba because it was a really hot day and I wanted more to drink! The taste was definitely the right amount of rose, which was a perfect combo and mixture with the milk.

I got here around 12 pm., which is half an hour after they officially open(11:30), and I ordered a hazelnut milk tea with boba. The worker informed me they didn’t have boba… At a boba shop… Not a good first impression. Anyways, I checked in to get my free upgrade, but when they brought my drink out, they gave me a regular size, so I asked them about it. The worker was nice enough to bring me out a large size and was very apologetic. So I can’t complain about costumer service. Very nice and accommodating. The hazelnut milk tea was not bad. It was really creamy and I couldn’t really taste the hazelnut. It just tasted like really sweet milk. It wasn’t bad, but it definitely wasn’t what I was expecting. I also got a side of medium spicy popcorn chicken, which wasn’t spicy at all. It was very standard. Comes with a side of sweet and sour sauce. Good amount. I think my order came out to around $ 9, which isn’t too bad. I cam here to study and while there aren’t a ton of seating, there are a ton of outlets. It’s nice if you get there early to snag one of the comfy

Check in on Unilocal! And get a free Large upgrade? SOLD. I guess I’m easy to please? This place is located on the corner of the shopping center. Although there appears to be lots of parking, I can see it getting filled up on the weekends considering how delicious their drinks are! I got«Jenny & Lucy» which I liked. My brother got this milk slushy thing that was also amazing. I definitely recommend this place for drinks!

My friend bought me milk tea from this place and I really enjoyed it! I’m so picky when it comes to this drink because I like the liquid texture to be thin, which is what this place has :) I think this place uses legit tea because it didn’t taste powdery at all. Yay quality! Oh and he boba was fresh and cooked just eight. It’s definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Check in for offers!

Wide variety of choices from a simple green or black tea flavored with fresh fruit of your choice to coffee slushies! Their boba is also really good, always a nice texture and is slightly sweetened. You can always ask your drinks to be less sweet if that’s what you prefer. My go to drink is the orange green tea/rose grapefruit green tea. Both are sweetened and made with fresh fruit juice, and really refreshing. If I want something more for my sweet tooth I’ll order the #102, it’s a frosty milk(milk blended with ice) drink with egg pudding and brown sugar. It’s also a good place to study, if you can find a spot, outlets are easily accessible at each table, and there’s free wifi!

I came here last night for the first time after passing it a few times going to Yogurtland. I’m glad that I did they have some AWESOME drinks. I just asked the cashier what was popular and luckily they had something similar to what I get at Sharetea! The Ice Cream Coffee is slightly bitter and not as sweet as Sharetea which I definitely enjoyed. Overall the ambiance of the location is very mellow and quiet so I’d like to think for students its perfect for studying. If you check-in you get a free upgrade to large.

Had a random late night craving for boba and popcorn chicken, and tried this place for the first time. Popcorn chicken was good — well spiced, crispy yet tender inside. Atmosphere is nice and chill. Couch chairs and wifi Didn’t really expect too much of the service; it was decent. I usually tip if they’re really friendly or whatnot, but didn’t end up tipping here. I got hazelnut milk tea, and it was rich! Loved the flavoring. BF got the rose grapefruit green tea, and that was very fruity and great as well. Overall, loved the two drinks, and would definitely get them again, as well as try other drinks here. Only one thing to note for next time is to get it less sweet.

This is a small, cozy place for boba drinks, slushies, and other desserts. Located on the other side of Yogurtland, Tea Bar Metro shares a small private parking lot with some other businesses like a Thai restaurant. Drinks here are very similar to those at Tea Bar Jungle in Rowland Heights and Fusion in Cerritos. Get a free upgrade to large size if you show them your Unilocal check in. Most add-ons are 50 cents, like boba, aloe, and jelly. I got the lychee green tea, and they put a lychee in the drink! It was refreshing even though it was freezing at just below 50 degrees on a California winter night. Their aloe floats to the top. that was different. I was here with a friend, and I noticed they play both Korean and Chinese pop music. The music wasn’t bothersome, but the other patrons can get loud. The couple, maybe late-twenties, next to us kept arguing. I was embarrassed for them doing that in a public area. I’ll be back if I’m in the area again! I love Yogurtland too :)

Great place to get some milk tea with boba. The service was good too. The nice cashier girl helped me decide on what type of black tea to try, I had the rose milk tea with boba. It was so good. Just the right amount of rose. Not too flowery, it was more subtle. I grabbed two drinks and was on my way! Make sure to check-in with Unilocal… They give you a free upgrade to a large! Score! Check this place out!

I bet you can’t find another boba place that uses freshly squeezed OJ for their orange green tea… but if you do, please let me know. I’m a huge fan of their orange green tea, but let me warn you that it will keep you up super late. The first time i tried the orange green tea was at the OC night market and it blew me away. I actually drove all the way to Rowland Heights to their other location just to find out that there was a location a lot closer to me! Its super refreshing, perfect for summer time. My sister is obsessed with their strawberry green tea, and her bf likes their passion fruit orange green tea. I’m sure they don’t use real fruit in those teas and its probably syrup, but its still really good. I see a lot of people studying here and I personally wouldn’t. It can get really loud, but I’d come here for a nice catch up session with a friend. I haven’t tried their food, so I don’t know if its any good. You’ll need to ask the cashier for a code for the bathroom. Also, we tried going last night and although the sign said that they close at 11PM, we walked in at 10:50PM and were told that they were closed D: You can call ahead to order your drinks, and make sure you sign up for their 5 star rewards program! I’ve gotten so many free stuffed animals :)

Free upgrade to large with Unilocal checkin! And of course I used it! Minimum $ 5 for card. I got their taro milk tea and it was great with the regular boba and the white boba that is extra gummy! Their large size is pretty large. I was afraid it would fall over in my shallow cup holder. They do make your orders hot so it will be served in a coffee cup with a spoon. Service was pretty good. The guy was friendly and answered my questions. The location is convenient with plenty of open spots.

Been here a few times for some fruit tea! One of three tea bars, and this one is pretty good! The drinks were good and so refreshing once you take a sip of it. I had the Rose Grapefruit Green Tea which was an awesome choice. It was not too sour and not too sweet as well, the grapefruit taste was nice as well and with a kick of the sweetness from the Rose it was just perfect! The combination with some real fruit was fine! I usually get fruit teas so for this it was fine, other drinks I have not tried. Price was a bit more compared to others as I got a large with check-in from Unilocal for $ 4.74. So remember to check-in if you want to upgrade to a large. Location/Ambiance: Plenty of parking, and with a bakery and yogurtland next to it. Service was fine, no line during the time I went, so got my drink really quick. Its a small place with enough comfortable seating for people and many students come here to study and for some snacks and drinks. awesome little boba place. Overall, a safe boba place if you need some boba drink! Try the Rose Grapefruit Green Tea if your into fruity teas. Price wise just a bit more but everything else was fine! Don’t forget to Unilocal Check-In! So give it a try and have some refreshing drinks!

If you step in here for more than 5 seconds… you will smell like fried foods for the rest of the day. Boom! This is one of usual spots for milk tea/green tea. They have some interesting flavors here. I usually get the hazelnut milk tea. Both hot and cold with boba! Try it hot with boba… it’s actually quite nice! The wifey usually gets orange green tea, no ice, less sugar. Yes, they do the whole custom ice and custom sugar thing like most Asian tea places do. I also get the popcorn chicken, med spice here. It’s pretty good. I’ve tried the fires and mozzarella sticks also. Everything is pretty good. Parking is decent although it could get a bit tight. They share plaza parking with other businesses, but I’ve never seen ALL spaces taken. But be aware that some spaces seem a tad bit smaller than others or ALL the spaces here are a smidgen smaller than usual. Nice place to grab some tea and get on your way. Just try to wait outside because if you wait in the lobby…(see above) :)

If you stay inside for longer than a few minutes, you’ll come out smelling like fried food. Like, soaked in fried food smell. Ambience: — quiet, unlike other tea places. People study here. — small, w/only a few seats near front. One or 2 long tables in back. There are more seats outside, but they’re shared with Yogurtland. Hot hazelnut milk tea– really well made. Not overly sweet & not scalding. If you add boba, they’re nice & extra soft & chewy. 5⁄5 Mandarin orange green tea– not as great. Made w/powder. 3⁄5 Orange green tea– much better. It’s made with actual oranges, with orange bits in the tea. Almost as much orange juice as there is tea, for those who like that. 5⁄5 Fried tofu– soft, tiny squares. They have a tendency to all stick together & the coating doesn’t do much for the flavor or the texture. Not really worthwhile. 3⁄5

I’m starting to fall in love with all things taiwanese. Perhaps they are God’s true chosen people. For they say, a way to a population’s heart is through their stomach. The stomach of the taiwanese people are blessed indeed! Some of my buddies and I came here after a few rounds of bowling. My team won us some free beverages so we decided to give this place a go rather than our usual spot at Cha2O… which is less than mediocre. My visual senses were rather pleased when I first walked in. Their long and narrow lounge with high ceilings and dark colors gave me a sense of peace and calm. We sat towards the back on the couches, which I found to be incredibly comfortable. The size of this place doesn’t accommodate too many people so I can’t imagine it getting obnoxiously loud here. All the juices and slushies are made with real fruit. Whaaaaat!!! Yup! Real fruit! My friends got the watermelon and mango slushies which I thought tasted rather clean and refreshing. The coconut milk tea slush and the hazelnut milk tea were also spectacular! Not to mention a free upgrade to a large when checking into Unilocal! I my friends also ordered some cheese sticks and the popcorn chicken. The cheese sticks were just okay… but the popcorn chicken was on another level!!! It’s like the ones from Cha2O but on steroids. I don’t know what they use for their batter but it had the most wonderful of crusts. Wonderfully crunchy yet the chicken still perfectly moist. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

This would be my second time here! I forgot the first time I came here. The inside looks cozy and there are a couple of tables and chairs. It was pretty small inside. I ordered the honey roasted oolong w/boba. Hmmm. It was my first time trying honey roasted oolong. I usually get the oolong milk tea at other places. I think this place doesn’t have oolong milk tea so I just tried the honey roasted one. It was alright. I thought it could have been better. Tasted like tea with some honey. Oh wells. It was still good. I really like their boba though. It’s soft and chewy with a hint of sweetness. Yumms. My favorite! Make sure to check in to upgradw to a large! But to be honest, I couldn’t even finish my large. Haha but hey, it’s free :) The total I paid was $ 4.89 for a large! Anyways, next time I think I’ll try the hazelnut milk tea. That sounds mhmhm!

There are a few things I always get stereotyped on and some being I don’t know how to drive, I’m always taking pictures, that I have to eat white rice with every meal and that I’m addicted to Boba. Truth be told maybe three out of four stereotypes might be accurate but the boba stereotype is wrong, not every Asian is addicted to Boba. I went to Metro Tea Bar in Artesia for the first time only because I was invited. It’s located on the corner of Artesia Blvd. and 183rd right next to Yogurtland. It’s a small and comfortable Tea Bar with a few tables, chairs and comfy couches. Atmosphere is pretty laid back. The menu was pretty intimidating and when I looked at it, it all looked all Giberish to me. I went the cashier to ask questions about the differences in the drinks and I was given the how do you not already know this look. After deciding to go with the Coconut milk tea I asked if it was possible to order a Coconut milk green tea and I was given a look of frustration. Not wanting to deal with Oscar the Grouch, I went with my second choice, the Coconut milk tea. Being the only the customers at the time, my milk tea came out ten minutes later. The drink was disappointing and tasted more milky than like coconut. I could barely taste the coconut and even considered exchanging my drink but didn’t want to deal with the cashier. Come to find out I could have ordered the Coconut green milk tea. I wouldn’t come back to Metro Tea Bar especially with all the other Tea bars in Artesia and Cerritos with better drinks and friendlier workers. The prices are comparable to everyone else’s so I’d rather go elsewhere. After this not so great experience, just three stars for Metro Tea Bar.
