This review is for how the food tastes. Best authentic Indian lunch buffet I ever had! They have ‘Thalapakkattu Biriyani’ !!! I loved their Kadai Chicken, Biriyani, Chicken Tikka Masala among the variety of dishes available at the lunch buffet. I will definitely come back

Worst customer service. If you have patience to wait for at least half an hour to just get the Menu then visit this place.

Whole lot of varieties in the weekend buffet, but none were them were too good to be mentioned here. The AC’s were off on a super hot 95 degree sunday. Wat else could piss me off about this place.

One of the good veg restaurants in artesia. If your spice level is low, make sure to tell the server to make the dish mild. First time when we visited we couldn’t eat because the food was very spicy. But now we tell them to make food mild.

Some of the best Indian food I’ve had, but I think that’s because we can order from the dosas from proper Bhimas while in this joint. Which is a bit of a downfall of this place that you wouldn’t be able to get the same quality dosa, but since they allow you to order from the other location, then a huge plus when wanting some non veg dishes. Service was not the greatest, but I guess that’s not too big of a factor when you come here. So when you combine the dosas from there and the meat dishes here, you can have a nice set of food. Both of the times here, the group seems to just order like crazy, but I get to see the menu… Things to get: Mysore Masala Dosa from Bhimas Chicken Curry Mutton Curry All of this goes well with a Haywards 5000 or a Kingfisher.

Horrible service or No Service! Went there around 6.00 pm and sat there for around 20 mins and nobody was interested to come and even ask! When I walked over to ask. A guy there said«wait some one will come«and turned away !!! Nothing happened !! Are these guys kidding??!

Not much to say about this place — it’s a sad little establishment in the little indian village complex in Artesia. There was absolutely NOONE there when we visited and I can’t say I’ve seen many people visit this place! We got the andhra kabob, dal and naan. They are were alright, nothing to write home about! Nonetheless, I doubt I’ll be back here considering there are other better restaurants in the Artesia area!

Best South Indian food since my time in India. They offer ALL of the chutneys, the dosa and idly are great. Service lacked a little(not very attentive), but honestly, in an Indian restaurant I don’t expect that anyway. The Mysore Masala Dosa(spicy!) was awesome. The Sambar was PERFECT! This place is a total«Score» on the list of places to eat in Little India.

The food here wasnt bad. Ordered a dosa– andhra style? So it had hot chutney in it. Really good kick to the chutney, so I was pretty impressed. The amount of sambar they give is clearly minimal, though. Veg biryani wasnt bad either, though I feel like the rice could have been cooked a bit more. The raita that it came with was really great-onions and cilantro, and very refreshing. The serve was not bad– the server seemed really lost half the time, but he was still pretty friendly. Décor is ok– reminds me if India, with all the neon lights(not exaggerating in the least). They dont take american express, as ALL their signs state, so dont use one. Not a bad experience overall. Frankly, I prefer the dosas at Udupi across the street. I like their service(Im a regular there, they know my whole family), and the food is great– the sambar is awesome, you just cant go wrong if you are craving a dosa.

Food is really good at this place atleast what we got was yummy. We ordered : Tandoori Chicken, 4 star Mutton Briyani, 4 star Garlic Naan, 4 star Gongura Chicken curry, 4 star Mango Lassi. 2+ Service: 2. We had to wait for a while before waiter decided to show up for our order then they took longtime to get our lunch and we had to ask twice for mango lassi and utensils. So service is really turnoff and bathroom is not clean either. Plus, they have to pass the bathroom to get your food which is a bit turn off for me. But I have to say food is yummy!!!

many thanks to shauna d. for inviting us and for hari l. for leading us through the vast expanse of items on offer at bhimas. from what i understand bhimas offers andhra style food. it’s very tasty, lots of spices involved in their seasoning of every dish. your tastes buds are definitely being exposed to plenty of taste in every bite. first of all the curry dishes we tried, mutton and aloo gobi, were very well seasoned and a bit strong(read: hot) but delicious nonetheless. second the navratna dal was probably the most tasty and hearty, and just right spice wise but the winner spicy wise was the shrimp pulusu. wow was that hot. i could only handle it accompanied with rice. the vegetable biryani was rather disappointing. i found it to be too dry and the spice prepared in was quite overwhelming. the other dish that was just okay was the chicken 555. they weren’t done bad or anything but that’s just the thing, they were pretty marginal as far as kabob goes. i will say their garlic naan was quite fresh and very tasty. i had to stop myself from filling myself up on it. another item that i enjoyed was the mango lassi. it was prepared quite deliciously and it was like having your dessert simultaneously with your meal! in fact i would go just to have the mango lassi again. all in all the food was good but the service was rather slow, non attentive and lacked warmth. the prices were very moderate and really the deciding factor on not giving them three stars. however i did enjoy my stay and will visit again.
