Valley View Children’s Center

I highly recommend Valley View to anyone looking for a pre school! After two kids and four years, Valley View has become so much more then a school to us. These women are our family! I will be very sad on the last day of school!!! I love Valley View with my whole heart! I trust the teachers and never have had to worry!

We chose Valley View after a careful search of the highest recommended schools in the area, and as the school year has gotten rolling, I am entirely confident we are in the best school around. Miss Jaime and Miss Elaine, in the office, are readily available, easy to talk with and make me feel welcome. As a working professional, I need a reliable team of excellent, loving, sensible women that will ensure my son’s safety and happiness. In Valley View, this is all in place.
I was in my son’s classroom today during snack, and was pleased to see the fresh steamed rice and sweet oranges being served; I even got to sit and eat with the kids. The positive emphasis on manners, health, and friendship is beautiful. Miss Shannon runs a great classroom where children are called «Friend». The children pass the bowl of orange slices, use tongs to serve their own portions, and have the coolest kid friendly sized pitchers from which they can successfully pour their own fresh water. It is super wonderful! Miss Shannon is very in tune with kids, enjoys her work and her genuine interest and enthusiasm shines through in a brilliant way. We see our son blossoming and thriving. He has never been anything but delightful and well behaved, but since starting preschool, we see his behavior at home being even better than ever.
My son stays for afternoon care also, and he enjoys his own special cot for nap time. I am surprised how well he sleeps (from day 1!) and he comes home fresh, happy, confident and with his bright mind expanded a little more each day.
One of the first aspects of Valley View, that sets it above the other schools I saw are the very large, well appointed, well lit (with plenty of windows affording natural light), well designed classrooms. I also feel that the location of the school is safe and I like the «Valley View» for which it clearly must have been named. The teachers and staff at this school are always well dressed with radiant health and glow– ready to give their best in all aspects of the day.
Without hesitation, I completely recommend Valley View Children’s Center if you want a great school for your child. This is not just a safe place to entrust your child so you can work– It’s way more than that!

This is an amazing place for children! My son has attended for two years. He has learned so much during his time there and made great friends. The teachers are so loving and compassionate. I always feel welcomed there. I honestly could not ask for a better pre school.

I’m a previous student of VVCC now in my middle 20s and Jamie was teaching there when I attended. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to attend and have fond memories of it. I remember moving on to the 1^st grade and thinking it was easy bc of the head start I got at VVCC. Many of my friend’s now have preschool age children and I always recommend VVCC and they are all pleased with their experience. Two generations can’t be wrong!
