Mid State Scare

I was up from the LA area visiting my girlfriend in Santa Maria when we decided to look on Google for a local haunted house to get into the Halloween spirit. We found MidState Scare and went that Saturday night when the show theme was Gothic Scary Tales. I didn’t expect much since I was used to the many great Halloween attractions in the LA area. Boy was I wrong. My low expectations were completely surpassed. The amount of detail in the rooms was incredible. The theming around classic fairy tales was well executed. The number and quantity of the actors was also top-​notch for a haunt of this size. This is a great haunt for a great price of just $ 10. There are many lower quantity haunts in LA that charge twice as much.

By far the scariest haunt attraction on the central coast! I have been to them all and the quality of acting here is great! You can tell from ticket sales up front to the actors inside the passion that goes into this place. Highly recommended!

Great for a spOoOoOooky time!

We did Universal. We did Knotts. This is BY FAR the best scare and the best value. Scariest yet! The regular is good, and the «Scream in the Dark» rocks!
