Cherry Lane Nursery

I’d never been to Cherry Lane Nursery but called about blueberry bushes & asked Renee whether their Monrovia bushes had been treated with Neonic (neonicotinoid) systemic pesticides linked to colony collapse disorder. Renee immediately offered to call their sales rep to find out & call me back. Within a short time, I had my answer — No neonicotinoides!
So — off we went to Cherry Lane. Immediately we were met by polite staff. I walked the whole nursery, which is fabulous and very inviting. I found my blueberries, large and loaded with fruit. Renee is very knowledgeable, and patiently tolerated all my questions and helped me pick 4 of the best plants, 2 each of 2 varieties.
They even loaded the plants in my car on a plastic sheet protector — I felt so pampered!
Later I realized I should have got 4 different varieties since I am just starting out, so I called Renee, who was happy to exchange 2 bushes for 2 different varieties. On this trip I also found fir bark, (a good 2^nd to the pine bark recommended for mulching blueberries). They also carry several varieties of organic potting soil. Again, polite & helpful staff were there to cart & load my purchases.
Today I put in an order for 3 more blueberry varieties. Renee was as polite and helpful as ever (she really knows her stuff), which I appreciate so much.
I called several other nurseries to find untreated blueberry bushes. While understandably no one knew about neonics, no one was willing to call a sales rep. to find out — except Renee– who actually offered! Renee went the extra mile, even though it took time & trouble to make sure her customer was satisfied.
Cherry Lane sure has my business now!

I used this nursery the first time this past week. I couldn’t be more impressed. they assisted me in finding what I was looking for, gave me extra advice as well. When one of the pieces of equipment didn’t work as expected, they returned it with no questions asked. I’m sold– this is now our official neighborhood nursery.

Renee and her crew are the best. Very knowledgeable, helpful and beautiful plants and garden art. It’s always a delight to visit.

Fantastic service, prices and products! The staff were very friendly and knowledgable, the prices were great (staff works with you, great coupons come out in the tribune seasonally), and the plants are very high quality, durable, and dependable (and if they don’t have the plant, they often can order it in). I highly recommend this business for all of your plant, landscaping, and gardening needs! I have come here for years and they will continue to get my business for years to come.
