Peanuts. That’s what this is. Peanuts. El Ranchero’s signature is their Cacahuate Tostado(Toasted Peanuts). I like peanuts. I like a nicely toasted peanut with a sweet edge. I don’t care for peanuts that are too bitter. I am picky about peanuts. I have difficulty digesting them, so I can only eat five or six peanuts at a time. When I eat peanuts, I want them to be good peanuts. I stumbled across at bag of these peanuts while shopping at Oakmont Produce in Campbell. They looked interesting. You could tell they are hand or small-batch dry roasted. Burnt spots on the shells and all. I figured, if I don’t like them, someone in the household would. I like them. These are good peanuts. I normally like salted peanuts, but these don’t need them. Because of the unevenness of their roasting process, some peanuts are more roasted than others. I actually liked that. Yeah, I could be a fan of these peanuts. My 12 oz bag is going to last a long time, tho…
