Not the best Mexican food but Las Fuentes has a fun atmosphere and huge margaritas. I have been here twice because I live nearby. The food and service have been decent. The place is pretty crowded on a Friday night. I thought the enchiladas with red sauce were mediocre but the chile rellenos was pretty good.

The fish tacos are amazing. The meat was so delicious. Service was excellent. Super friendly. Arturo was my server and he was extremely kind and prompt. The chips and salsa were nice and fresh. Would definitely come back again if I’m in the area.

I’m from Denver and married to a spanish man who’s mama made the best tamales. At La Fuentes they rival my mother in law. Their tamales are the best around. LOVETHEM! And very nicely priced Yum!

The cheese dip to start out with is to die for. Lunch specials ate constantly changing and are always good. Tatiana was an attentive waitress, before, during and after the meal. This is always a pleasant place to dine with quick, great, reasonably priced food.

Great Food. Always VERY tasty & hot. Manager-Tim does a great job leading the team. He always comes by our table to make sure everything is OK. Waiter-Arturo is awesome. He knows my whole family, also knowing what each person wants. We have also had the pleasure of being served by Jesus, who again recognizes my family… always with a smile on his face. When someone ask what or favorite place to eat. we ALWAYS say Las Fuentes in Arnold. We have introduced other family members & friend’s who also rave about the food & service. That is why we eat there at least 2 times per week… sometimes even more!

Mexican food is one type of food I could eat the rest of my life. I’ve been to my share of mexican restaurants, and while it won’t beat the authentic food we got while in the country of Mexico, this restaurant was pretty good. The atmosphere was nice. You can tell a lot of people visit here as it was a Wednesday night and it was crowded. We were seated right away and our waitress came and took our drink orders immediately while we were given chips and salsa. My husband ordered the fried tacos and I got the flautas with chicken. Muy bueno! Mine was topped with the white cheese, which is to die for and there’s enough to dip your chips into if you didn’t order the cheese as an appetizer. We both were stuffed upon finishing and the waitress gave us drinks to go without us having to ask, which was nice.

My wife and I have visited twice now. We Weren’t impressed either time. The food failed to please. It’s very cramped, if you get a booth you are in good shape, but the tables in the middle are cramped and crowded. The chips are not the best, they tasted stale and as if they were from a bag. My wife had the Cadillac margarita and said it was one of the worst and had a weird sweet taste. The place was very busy both times, the service was fine we were seated quickly both times even though there was a wait. The kitchen goofed and messed up my order last night, the waiter was able to get it corrected quickly. My wife and I agree that we haven’t experienced anything to make us want to come back,

Came on Sunday with family(including two children) to discover kids eat free on Sundays. Jesus, our server, was so attentive. He took our order without writing down anything and our order was perfect. And everything was hot. I would highly recommend this place(and ask for Jesus).

I received a birthday coupon for this place, buy one entrée for $ 8.95 and receive one free. My wife was in a class so I took my two girls. I asked if they could count their two meals as one entrée. The waitress asked the manager and they said no so I simply ordered an entrée for them to split. When the waitress took my card for payment she came back and said that the coupon also requires a purchase of an adult size beverage. Apparently the sodas my two girls had were not adult size. I told the waitress just forget the coupon and I will never be back again. She profusely apologized and I told her it was not her fault it was just ignorant management.

I would give the service here a negative star rating. We were seated quickly and our drink order was taken. That doesn’t sound too bad, but we then waited for a good 15 minutes to only have another server ask if we would like something to drink. We told them and then waited another 5 minutes or so for them to come with the drinks. I would expect this if they were busy, but there were only a few people in the restaurant. The food on the other had was amazing!!! The chips were fresh and the tacos were delicious. If you don’t mind dealing with ultra slow service, then the payoff for the amazing food is worth it. Update: We went back for a second time and the experience was totally different. The service was quick and the food was still again amazing. So glad that a friend Tortillaria in the CWE but this saves us trip to the city when we are looking for good authentic Mexican. If everything stays consistent I would be happy to give this a 5 star!

Yes, it’s a typical«authentic» Mexican restaurant. However, it gets 4 instead of 3 stars because of the margaritas, queso, and dessert. RECOMMEND: Quesadilla norteña, queso dip, house margarita, tacos, tortilla soup, xongos(dessert item) Service is good, except for one male waiter who never comes back to your table and will make you wait forever for the bill.

I ate here twice with my wife over the past couple of weeks. This place is just like most of the other Mexican restaurants you’ve visited. A combination number one consists of two enchiladas and a taco, just like at El Maguey, El Paisano, etc. So, you pretty much know what to expect from these type of restaurants. The décor of this place is pretty decent, but the food on the other hand, is not. I got the same thing(Combo #1) both times I came here. The first time it was just average. Nothing spectacular, just average. It took the server a long while to greet our table, which always bugs me when the restaurant isn’t busy. The chips were pretty good, while the salsa was just ok. I left here the first time thinking I might give it another shot if and when the time came. Well, that next time came last Friday when my wife wanted Mexican food. I can sum up our second visit here in one word: awful. From the moment we sat down, service was very poor. I believe we saw our waiter a grand total of 3 times. Once to take our order, once to bring our drinks, and again when we had to hunt him down to get the check. Others brought us our food and a refill. Our waiter never even came over to ask how our dinner was. It’s probably a good thing he didn’t, because the food was flat out bad. The same combo#1 I got was bland as can be. Rice and enchiladas had no flavor. The tortilla for the enchilada seemed undercooked and tasted funny. I just stopped eatinf it. The only thing that was decent was the hard shell taco. But seriously, how hard is it to mess up a taco with ground beef and cheese? I could make this at my house, and I’m not exactly Gordon Ramsay. All in all, the poor service and mediocre food ruined it for me. Sorry Las Fuentes, I won’t be back.

Honestly, I don’t feel like there is any huge difference that sets these type of Mexican restaurants apart from one another. It really all comes down to a matter of personal opinion. There are a handful of them in the Arnold/Imperial area, and I think everyone has their favorite for one reason or another. My husband and I had our go-to spot until just recently, and after a bad experience there, I was excited to try Las Fuentes for dinner with a group of girls from work. It’s the newest of the local bunch and the only one I hadn’t experienced yet. It was too cold to sit outside on the evening we went, but they do have a small outdoor patio. Inside, it’s exactly what you would expect to find… the kitschy Mexican theme, which I happen to like. :) The server didn’t bat an eye when all four of us ladies at the table asked for some sort of substitution or to make slight changes to our dish. He was super friendly and accommodating. He also kept our drinks filled and made sure we had plenty of chips and salsa on the table at all times. He really did seem to enjoy his job and it showed. I would rank the food right up there with my old go-to spot. All the girls, including me, loved their dinner selections. I ordered a combo platter consisting of a chile relleno, chicken soft taco, cheese enchilada, and rice(I asked for beans instead). I can’t wait to come back with my husband and try something else. I’m hoping he’ll enjoy it as much as I did.

My husband and I decided to try Las Fuentes after our go to Mexican restaurant near our home closed. Holy moly were we impressed. We’ve gone a few times and every experience has been excellent. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The salsa is fantastic. It has flavor instead of tasting like plain tomatoes. I’ve ordered different main course items each time and have never been disappointed. This is our new favorite local joint.

I had high hopes for this Las Fuentes… I went there for an early lunch today. I ordered the Chicken quesadilla which was amazing. My Mexican rice and refried beans were ice cold! I couldn’t believe it, we just ate the food cold and didn’t tell the waiter til afterward but I like the Oakville Las Fuentes. It’s amazing and never had cold food there!

Maybe I’m spoiled on good mexican food but it was not up to par. The service was great but the food was very bland. Best guess was it was store bought with small adjustments. Probably won’t visit again expect for drinks only.

The best Mexican food in South County! The menu has everything you want when it comes to American-Mexican food.
