This China King is similar to all of the China King restaurants you have been to before. There is nothing wrong with it. The service was friendly, accurate, and efficient. The small restaurant was not flashy and obviously catered to the delivery/take-out crowd. China Kings are similar to a chain restaurant. It is hot, fast, and you know what the menu is going to be without looking. The positive for this chain is that they manage to get their food right most of the time. If you are in the mood for fast food without the chicken/burger/taco angle, you could do much worse than China King. One large order of Beef and Broccoli with garlic sauce, one pint of chicken fried rice, and a dinner special with Szechuan shrimp totaled out at $ 20. Not a bad.

Great food, ill give them that, BUT you can get great Chinese food at other establishments in Arnold without dealing with rude service. For example, my fiancé & I spent $ 30 there(for pick up) upon picking up our food i asked for a condiment container so i could fill it with kikkoman soy sauce(the bottles on the table) & the lady… Im pretty sure shes the owner, informed me that there are packages of soy sauce beside the soda machine. I then informed her that i do not like that soy sauce, & that i wanted kikkoman. She then said, «bottles are for dine in customers, you get packages.» My response was, «No, i gave you $ 30 for food, whether i take my food home or not im just as much entitled to the condiments i want as any other customer & that ill even pay, but i wont be back» Then I swear… she gave me a tiny 1oz cup of soy sauce. The same cups their homemade mustard is in. SO… just ask for the kikkoman next time & see if your opinion of the establishment changes.

Are you thinking about Panda Express? Run screaming away and come to China King. The food is better cheaper and did I say better? I’m funny but I prefer Chinese people cooking my Chinese food rather than teenagers. Let them work at McDonalds. I need someone cooking who does it for a living and knows the difference between their ass and Star Anise. Predictable freshly made Chinese fare when you are in the mood to be satiated with MSG laden goodness. It’s a guilty pleasure that just hits the spot!

When I’m in the mood for some quick Chinese take-out, this is my go to place near work. It’s one of two places I really enjoy… the other being its sister restaurant, Happy Wok, located nearby. China King is certainly nothing fancy… very simple with a counter to place your order and just a handful of tables. The staff are always pleasant and greet you with a smile. My coworkers and I usually order lunch from here at least once a month. I only like a handful of items on the menu, and usually go with the sweet and sour chicken combo for lunch. For $ 5.35, you get a heaping mound of pork fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and choice of soup, egg roll, or crab rangoon. I love their generously stuffed crab rangoon, so I always choose that as my side. China King does the job for me. It’s a great lunch portion for the price. My favorite part of the meal with my friends is always reading our fortunes at the end. It’s tradition to add the words«in bed» to the end of the sentence and can make for some pretty hilarious fortunes. Oh, the things we do for entertainment. :p

They always have large portions. Never a long wait. My comfort food! Loved them for years. Recommended. But I would like if they knew my name. I’ve spent probably thousands over the years. They should know my name by now. I watched their kids grow from tots to restaurant help. Indeed best Crab Rangoon!

In town, staying next door at the Drury. Ordered for pickup, it was ready by the time I walked across the parking lot. Fried Dumplings were good. Veggie fried rice was okay — some broccoli and pea pods, but pretty average. I wouldn’t drive across town for this, but it was convenient.

The staff was very nice and welcoming. Our noodles were fine, but the General Tso chicken was nasty. The flavor was okay(although there was barely any sauce), but the chicken was tough, stringy, and I ended up throwing it all away.

YUM! This is really good and they have Americanized and also some items that are more traditional. They have a really good selection of items and they were really tasty. They had noodles and rice also pudding and lots of different dishes.

A staple on the diet of everyone in Arnold for years. The experience is what you would expect from a little strip mall Chinese place, I prefer getting my order to go. Never had a bad dish from here.

We’re new to the area and need a good Chinese place when I take a break from dinner. We ordered the basic lo mien, general Tao chicken and spicy chicken. The lo mien was good and not salty much like other places. Both the chicken dishes were great. It’ll definitely be out place to get Chinese.

Just left another Chinese restaurant to come here… I order, get my food, get home and not all of the order is there. I call ~ They are going to give me credit for next visit ~ but I only come her about once every 5 years. I tell them this and ask if they could just deliver it… which they do. Thank you for that. I do enjoy their food.

My favorite chinese place in Saint louis! I don’t go here as often as I should, that’s mostly due to the fact that chinese food is very flavorful and I get tired of it fast. Whenever I get a craving form some chinese, this is the place I go to. I love their orange chicken as its crispy and not soggy like the other places. The crab rangoon is also very good and the portions are huuuuge :).
