Dr. Riley was very friendly and caring – she was great with my kids! The whole staff was friendly and accommodating. Great selection of frames too.

Home Town Help WILLALWAYS soar above National Chains! I would recommend Arnold EyeCare Center to EVERYONE that can make the drive!!! After a Horrible experience with Clarkson EyeCare– aka-I had been a patient for 2 years-, always ordering from Clarkson. Then my contacts ripped & noticed I had ran out of back ups. I was leaving for Europe the next week & needed contacts immediately! The Dr. at Clarkson couldn’t fit me in and WOULDN’T even give me a pair to make it through till the order came in(weeks later). Reasoning– I didn’t like her contact lenses suggestion so, I couldn’t use any brands they had in stock. THUS, I fired Clarkson(on Eager Road) & I found HELP! (Arnold Eyecare) They were able to fit me in THAT day & even gave me a pair to wear home AND a backup pair for Europe! She also informed me the reason why I didn’t like the Clarkson contact lenses brand suggestion was because(are you ready for this) — I have Astigmatism!!! NOWONDER : 1– I couldn’t see 2– had horrible headaches 3– Never liked the contacts suggested from Clarkson!(they never fit my prescription or eyes for Astigmatism!) Needless to say– i’m sorry the one girl on Unilocal recently had a sad experience. However, i had a WONDERFUL experience. Definitely give this place a try. I don’t know too many places that will actually HELP the customer & believe in customer experience!

1 star — because 0 stars in not an option. My dad recommended me to this office so I went in for an eye exam & to look at glasses on 5÷23÷15. To start off, I told the receptionist and the technician that I was there for an eye exam only and for glasses, since that’s all my insurance would cover and I didn’t want any other exams outside of my $ 20 copay. This was met with«of course!» After completing the initial eye exam twice because the assistant didn’t ask/realize I had contacts in, I saw Dr. Gonzales. The dr noticed my contacts in the case on the counter & I said that I do wear contacts but I have a new box at home & my insurance only covers one eye exam + contacts OR glasses a year and my insurance is up in 2 months. So I’m choosing to get the exam and glasses today. After my eye exam, the dr throws my contacts away and says that she will let me try out a new pair to wear home, and if I like them I can call back in the future and order that brand. She leads me to a room where another woman has me put in a new pair of contacts & asks how they feel, I say great. She then shows me a piece of paper that has a grand total of $ 400 on it(my copay is $ 20) and gets out her calculator. She starts explaining that they reduced my contact fitting fee as a favor & starts outlining the cost of varying boxes of contacts — grand totaling around $ 375. I told her I was here for glasses and an exam and that I had already told the dr I had a box of contacts at home. Frustrated, she rips up the paper in front of me, crumples it up & storms out of the room. She and the dr return and basically scold me and said that I need a contact exam to get contacts, and I explained again that I already had contacts at home. They told me I had to pay a minimum of $ 60 before I could leave for the contacts that were in my eyes. I refused & said that I didn’t ask for new contacts. They instruct me to take them out of my eyes and throw them away in front of them before I can leave and put my old contacts in instead. I reminded the dr that she threw my other contacts in the trash. She says«Well, I guess I forgot I did that, but I did you a favor because they were disgusting.» I asked if they were really going to make me throw away the contacts that were in my eyes before I could leave, and they said«Yes, it’s illegal for us to let you leave without you paying for them.» I’m not sure what’s illegal about that. At this point I’m crying and I’m led to the front to pay, with no contacts, no glasses… & have 20⁄100 vision. Thankfully I had my glasses in my purse or I would’ve driven home possibly legally blind. The entire experience was so unprofessional, with ripping up the form in front of me and demanding I throw the contacts away in front of them before i could leave. Worst customer service experience of my life. Once again, I had informed the receptionist, technician, and doctor that I was only there for glasses, and they tried to manipulate me and pressure me into paying $ 400 for my visit. I will review this humiliating experience on every website I can. I do not recommend this office to anyone and I will only go back to pick up my prescription so I can buy glasses elsewhere.
