Haven’t been able to come here in a few months. I saw that they had slipped from 4.5 stars to 3.5 stars. They are still 5 stars in our book! Great service, GREAT food! Villa’s is still our FAVORITE place to eat!!!

Quite disappointed with this place today! We looked at their Unilocal profile and the hours are wrong! We came at 3:15 and it was CLOSED! The menu says Brunch from 11am-5pm and obviously it’s a lie! They need to update their profile immediately!

Dined here tonight at 6pm 8÷30÷15 for my birthday. This is a far cry from the original Irving location. I’ve been going there for a few years now(lunch, dinner, and my birthday each year) and have never been disappointed. This place, on the other hand, was a major disappointment. I requested three times over the course of an hour if we could get Picanha(their signature cut mind you) and when it finally arrived it was nearly raw. This is coming from a table with three people happy to eat rare steak. It was terrible. When it was finally brought, the manager told us we needed to take extra pieces because it was special for us although we didn’t want it at all since it didn’t appear cooked in the slightest. We were offered only 5 cuts over and over. Never got the bone in chicken or other options served. Seemed other tables would take all the server kid would have on his skewer and we were just never offered. Service, while polite, was extremely slow other than water refills. Took 15 minutes to get our bill after asking for it long after the table had been cleared. Another odd thing that helped kill the overall experience was the pineapple — it wasn’t served on a nice clean plate at the end as it is traditionally elsewhere(Irving location and other similar restaurants) — it was offered mid meal on top of our rice/steak/etc but never at the end. This is generally one of my favorites parts of Villas– they bring a clean plate and set you up to finish the meal with that amazing pineapple. Overall– the staff on duty for dinner tonight should be retrained/replaced or just stick to the one location. When the family/owners aren’t around, the place just isn’t the same and definitely won’t be getting my business.

True a hidden lunch spot. If you’ve got a little extra cash and are hungrier than any normal restaurant can satisfy, come here. At $ 16.99 for lunch it is a steal on a Brazilian steak house. This place is pretty empty at lunch, then again most people don’t do brazilian steak houses for lunch. I’m not most people. Recommendations: Carmelized bananas, panchea(I think that’s what it’s called — like pancheta/steak) Cons: Salad bar is pretty mediocre, not bad just nice and average. Plus its a big empty place. I would have opted for a small location then expanded once my business got started.

This food is pretty good and fresh. Salad bar and grilled pineapples where all that! It was a great place to try out if your into Brazilian style steakhouses. Ambiance was nice and clean, and the smell is amazing.

First time at a Brazilian steakhouse, was not impressed, the meat was burn’t, and I only liked the steak, as for the buffet, it was just ok, nothing too great.,

Great alternative to the larger upscale churrascurrias if you have the craving but don’t want to spend as much.

This place is awesome. I’ve been to a lot of Brazilian steakhouses, and this one is definitely up there. The service is excellent. I highly recommend it!

$ 20 bucks for lunch. A little slow to get the meats out and they swing the same direction every time they come out of the kitchen, so by the time they get to your table, it’s either out or your left with rare. They only had about 15 tables so it was not balls to the wall busy but the meat service was still slow. Top sirloin was okay but a bit tough. The pickana(sp) was the best meat, tender and just the right ratio of fat. The garlic steak was okay but I’m not a big fan of garlic. The chicken was okay also. So we have been here an hour now and I’ve had like 6 pieces of meat. Not impressive. The service staff was friendly and efficient. The dessert(they had 4 kinds) hit the spot at the end.

Came in for lunch today to see if the lunch service was any different than the dinner service and let me tell you that everything was just as good. I could not believe that my son and I were the only people in the restaurant, but with that being said… We had the best service and everyone was extremely pleasant and upbeat. The place is very clean and the atmosphere is great… An all you can eat meat restaurant… What could be better!!!

This place is near my fave Mexican eatery. I was treated to a bday lunch here and then this year a Lovers day dinner. Lunch was good but DINNER was exceptional! The salad bar was perfectly sized for all the meat I was planning on consuming, who visits a Brazilian eatery and cares about fodder. The man had made reservations so we had a beautifully decorated table w flowers and candles, PERFECT! The delicious cheese bread/rolls were brought out upon flipping our cards and the feasting was on! The bacon wrapped filet Mignon and the Picanha were our favorite cuts! The Brazilian beer and wine they recommended paired perfectly with our food. This is great place for your buck. The bartender will make you delicious drinks w Cachaça to further the Brazilian experience. Oh can’t forget the lamb, delish!

I’ve been working since 4 am and am a bit hungry, so I stopped by Villa’s for lunch and let my employer foot the bill. Weekday lunch is $ 16.99, which is not too bad considering what you get. The salad bar hadn’t changed from the last time I was in. But they added several chafing dishes with rice, beans, and several meat-based stews. The cheese bread is brought out to the tables in baskets(probably a good thing, I would gorge on those if I was allowed to pick it from a tray). The table setup also includes a fried banana, caramelized with sugar and sprinkled in cinnamon sugar, and polenta. There were only two other diners when I arrived at 12:30 midweek. While I was dining, customers would filter in and out, which helped regulate the service with freshly cooked offerings. The meats were much improved. I really enjoyed the Parmesan pork. They reduced the saltiness while improving the Parmesan flavor. The Picanha was very tender. The Picanha has a thick piece of fat on the outside. Normally, I trim the fat off my meat. A friend recommended I leave the fat on, and he was right. The piece of fat just melts in your mouth and adds subtle flavor to the meat. I kind of felt like Jack Sprat’s wife. I noticed the outer crust of the beef has a seasoning similar to Tone’s Canadian Steak Seasoning, which is a good thing. I use it all the time on my steaks. I ignored the dessert table this time as I was already loosening my belt and in need of a nap.

Excellent food and great service. Everyone is so nice. The food is excellent and and season good. I really did like the potato salad it was my favorite on the salad bar. I would compare the experience to Texas de Brazil but cheaper. If you are in Arlington this is one place you have to try

I had a wonderful experience at Villa’s! The restaurant is small, family-owned, and very affordable. We came for lunch and were very satisfied satisfied with how everything tasted and impressed by the amazing and sincere customer service provided by all the servers. The meat was seasoned well and served steaming hot, fresh from the kitchen. I find that meat at the large chain Brazilian steakhouses are often inconsistent-occasionally spot on, but most of the time too salty. Every item, from the house special to the garlic beef was carefully seasoned and cooked. The salad bar was very fresh and the rice was especially good. It had a slightly small selection, but everything tasted great! I was impressed to find that there was not one meat/salad bar item that I didn’t like. The servers made sure to always stop by, whether or not the card was flipped to green, which I appreciated. Our server, Hugo, was very kind in informing us of the meats available for lunch as well as taking requests for specific meat we wanted to try again. We will definitely be stopping by for dinner soon to try out the rest of the menu!

Great food, good atmosphere, great price. A great value for great Brazilian food. Recently went to the much higher priced new place up at I 20 and Cooper. This is equal the quality at a much better price. Went at lunch, and while the menu is scaled back at lunch, it was more than enough. Staff was attentive and friendly. We will return for lunch and also dinner.

The food was fantastic. The chicken wrapped bacon is my favorite and those bananas are delicious as well! They are new and looking to fill the positions. There was only one waitress working 6+ tables and two meat carriers. They were all very nice and helpful, but you could tell they were definitely understaffed. I would definitely go back again in a month to see what it will be like when they are fully staffed!

I’m ecstatic that the owners of Villa’s Grill in Irving decided to open an Arlington location! I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. You absolutely MUST eat here! EVERYTHING is SUPERB. EVERYTHING. Nuff said!!!

Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chao are two of my husband’s favorite places to eat, and I love it when we can go there, but the prices are really steep so when we’re on a budget(who isn’t?) we can’t go very often. I knew there were some«lower end» churrascarrias in DFW but until recently they were far enough away for me not to attempt to dine at one. However, now Villa’s has a location right near a couple of our favorite local restaurants so we figured for $ 25 for dinner we could give it a shot on a date night. We weren’t expecting TdB or Fogo, given that it’s half the price, but obviously we wanted to have a good meal. Villa’s provided that, and so we’re happy. The salad bar is definitely smaller than the Big Guys, but it had most of the items that I usually get minus the au gratin potatoes. I had a small caesar, some hearts of palm and a little bit of potato salad(mayo based). It suited my pre-steakfest needs just fine. The cheese bread was as good as I’ve had anywhere and I’d have been happy stuffing myself on that. The bananas are coated with cinnamon sugar and fried to have a crisp crust so to speak. My husband actually preferred them to TdB bananas, I’m not sure I’d go that far but they were good. It took awhile for the meat service to kick in much. We saw a couple chicken items, then a manager came to ask if we needed anything, I mentioned we’d not seen any of the steaks yet. Then the steaks and pork started getting sent over. From that moment on, service, if anything was TOO attentive. Not from the meat-carriers so much as the manager, our server, and at least one other random person coming to ask if we needed anything merely a few sentence apart in the conversation I was having with my husband. I’d rather have service be too attentive than not attentive enough, but really it was kind of funny how difficult it was to have a conversation between the«No thanks, we’re fine.» comments every 2 – 4 minutes. But I can live with this. The food to me is the real issue, and whether the food here is worth the $ 25 dinner price. For us, it was. The only meat we tried that we didn’t care for was the garlic beef. My husband liked the two chickens(I did not try them). We both enjoyed all the other steaks. Sometimes, they were a little too salty, but still enjoyable. The picanha was probably the best one, followed by the flank steak and the bottom sirloin. We didn’t see the smoked sausages come around until after our meal was done, but that’s ok because I don’t normally eat them anyway. They will bring you roasted pineapple when you’re done with your meat. Honestly, I would have liked that along with the meat instead of just once at the end. I looooove roasted pineapple and the pineapple server wasn’t as generous with the servings as I’d have liked.(I was done eating mine by the time he finished cutting my husband’s, but I was too shy to ask him to give me more before he left). Although it’s not as high end or having quite as many meat selections as TdB or Fogo, we had a very good meal. And, at the lower price point I didn’t feel like I had to eat myself to discomfort in order to not be «wasting money», so I left comfortably full instead of exploding in pain. We’ll be back.

what a very cool place! ive never been to a Brazilian place. never ate the food. the only frame of reference i have is the scene from bridesmaids. which we all know. goes in great. but ends horribly in public street pooping hahahaha. FIRSTTHINGSFIRST. THISIS A BYOBPLACEWOOTWOOT LUCKILY. those things did not happen to me haha. so parking is fine. easy to find building. walking in youre greeted by a massive brick wall and the host. and seated right away. because this place is new. so i was seated at my table for 8 by the bar and had a look around at the set up and was very bored with everything lol. it gave me the wrong idea. i do judge by the cover. so LOL. i went to the bathroom next and it was fine, functional and clean and it was actually nice lol. so i go back to my seat. and notice my chair is wobbly. that bothered me so i traded it as there was random chairs by the window. it took me 3 wobbly chairs for me to find an okay chair. after awhile i started to think… maybe thats how their supposed to be hahaha. but nah. so after we put in our drink orders my friends got up to the open food area. ive never been before so i was very lost. i wish the waiter would of told us what to do or ask if we’ve ever been before. so theres a salad bar and random hot pot stuff raviolli mashed potatoe gumbo black beans and ample amounts of sauces for the meats. no a1! dont ask i hate people who do that lol. FOOD: so we tried literally everything. and had plenty of sides. the one time i ate lamb i threw up right away so i was very afraid of eating it that night. but fret not! i ate it all haha. MYFAV cut was the flank steak. so tender. tad salty but i loved every bite. the chicken wrapped in bacon wait that sounds wrong? bacon and chicken put together hahaha was a close fav. the parm pork was kind of strange… the bottom sirloin was also pretty good. but honestly. ITSALLGOODHAHA. i esp enjoyed the raviolli. wow was that great! the ricotta was perfectly seasoned. were they hand made? they looked took perfect. but was it good! yes. food is great. service is below par. towards the end of the meal i guess they thought we were full so they stopped coming by and that left a lul in our meal which was lame! we had to ask for more meat. the bads: this place just doesnt feel like a great place to eat! its too bright! lower it a tad. servers are clumsy. but make up for it sometimes. the seating feels cheap. and divey. all in all id come here again. and it was a great experience.
