I only deal with this place because it’s close to home, but when I move I’m outta here. The very first day I went in, they charged me for dropping the truck off at the wrong location, when I called the 800 number the day prior to change it. This was not the location’s fault, but the customer service’s error. Cost me over $ 300. Right away I noticed that the owners(husband and wife) never smile or speak when you walk in. The ask how can they help you. I never get a warm greeting or feel welcomed when I go in. I switched units and the husband put me on a ‘waiting list’, supposedly and said he’d call when it was available and it should be maybe a couple weeks. After almost three weeks, I went in and was told you’re in luck, one came available yesterday. Uhm… ok…great. Slow clap. I was on a ‘waiting list’, so why didn’t I receive a call? No answer. Anyway, I was credited the unused amount on the unit I was in and it was applied to my new unit once I moved out of the old one. The grounds — As you drive up you immediately notice the lack of parking and when they have a lot of trucks in, the trucks will be in a space or two or lined up along the entrance. There’s only about two good parking spots and a handicapped one. It’s also up on a hill and the drive along back is not leveled, but I imagine that’s for water run-off. There is also a ton of old mattresses and other junk/garbage at the dumpster area right as you drive through the gate that make it look really ghetto. You can get to this spot off of N. Collins or by driving through the Tom Thumb parking lot. If you have to come here, set up a unit online if you can, go in the do the paperwork and set up automatic payment to avoid interaction. They also offer 24 hour access and I believe it’s and extra $ 10/month.
