I have been coming here for years now and I am always happy with my haircut. Very courteous and professional service.

Terrific find! Stopped in on a whim one day when I was in need of pedicure. Owner Jenny is really friendly, and did a relaxing mani-​pedi. Decided to come back last month and try her out as a hair stylist. Turned out, didn’t need to be nervous. She gave me a truly great cut & color. (also very reasonably priced.)

Jenny is fantastic! She is always current on the latest hairstyle trends and continues her education on a normal basis. This is what I liked most about her. She was able to cut my hair EXACTLY the way I wanted,(which is a somewhat complicated short cut) in 10 minutes. She is also great with color and her prices are very reasonable. I would recommend her to any of my friends or family!

Love this place! Jenny is fantastic. She does a great manicure and she’s a pleasure to chat with. Looking forward to going in again soon!

My hair stylist, William Brown, recently relocated to this salon after his previous salon in the city closed. I’ve been going to him for over 5 years and can’t say enough good things. He does a great job on my hair (both cut and color) and he’s a great guy, too. I gladly followed him to Arlington and highly recommend him to anyone who’s looking for a stylist.

I moved to Arlington about a year ago and I’ve been going here to get my nails done. Jenny is wonderful, its always a pleasure going to get my nails done now. Very relaxing salon and so convenient to my house! I love this place!

I live in DC but my friend who always has beautifully cut straight hair, with highlights, said she had her hair done there — by Jenny. I expected a more expensive kind of place based on my friend’s hair! Jenny does a nice job and at a price that won’t break the bank. I have been very satisfied, especially with the highlights (I prefer a more natural look and she achieves this)

My manicure was awful and very expensive. Do not go here. I much prefer Hollywood nails also on Wilson blvd

I moved out of DC and into Arlington and thought I would try and find a new hair salon. I loved my Dupont Circle salon, but thought I should find something local. I walked into several Arlington places that had an average customer age of 65+ or where when asked if they do highlighting they responded with «yes, we do frosting.»
Eventually I found Touch of Beauty in the Merchandiser and they had a very good coupon. I called and they sounded good so I gave them a try. The owner (who is no longer the owner) was great and I loved her cuts, color and customer service. And the prices were very reasonable.
I went to this salon for many years and liked it quite a bit. It was nothing fancy, but it was clean and convenient and cordial. They all remember your name and story and have fun stories to share as well.
Over the years they offered many different services and specials. They had a standing tanning booth for a few years. They had waxing and massages. They had a full team of manicurists and bought brand new pedicure massage chairs. There were times when they were really busy.
One day when the owner was booked solid and I was attempting to do a walk-​in, she introduced me to a stylists named Nella who was exceptional. I started going to Nella regularly. She is simply amazing with color.
Eventually, one of the other stylists bought the salon. I would occasionally see the previous owner in with clients, but the place began to fall apart. It is now a very sad looking place. Nella moved on, but would return to the salon for the convenience of her past customers. I would meet her there as well, but each time it was worse and worse. They would be out of supplies, the place was dirty and the place was also surprisingly empty.
Sadly, I can no longer recommend Touch of Beauty. I can however recommend Nella who is now at My Allure Salon in Dulles.
