Was told by a local this was the place to eat and he was right. Our server was the best as he had them seat us in the back section since they were full but didn’t want to turn us away. Food was good, but the service was stellar.

Wanted to go for breakfast but, they now just serve breakfast on the weekends. We had lunch instead today. We were seated right away and served water and gave our orders. Took 45 min for a Ruben, prime rib dip. The onion rings were very greasy and there was a small serving of dry prime rib on the French roll. I husbands Ruben was just OK. Nothing special. The waffle fries were very good. The sign driving up to the place said new Chef. The last time we had been there was in July last summer I think they should get the old chef back it was excellent then.

As we entered, an employee came hurriedly out of the kitchen; I held up short. and said«hello.» No response, she just hurried on. We waited at the«Wait to Be Seated» sign for about 5 minutes as two employees chatted with each other about ten feet away, and the first employee went by three times without a word. Finally, my spouse said, «shall we go?» We did. I have no idea about the food, the prices, the entertainment, or any other aspect except the total lack of staff training and enthusiasm for presenting any type of welcome to customers. The place was not busy, there were about eight people sitting at tables. We stopped at the Oso General Store, about a mile distant, received a warm welcome, purchased drinks, a wrap and a salad from the case, and had an enjoyable meal. Chatted with the two women who were running the General Store about some mutual interests before leaving.

Excellent place! It was hard to find a place in Arlington where I could book a group private dinner, and finding The Restaurant at Rhodes River Ranch was a gem. I spoke with their manager, Bonnie, who has been very professional the entire time. She listened well to what we needed and was willing go out of her way to make sure to meet those needs — Special deals and even opened the restaurant on a day they were supposed to be closed just to accommodate us! Now, that is customer service. On the day of, the staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints with them whatsoever. The ambiance is cool, fun, yet appropriate. Cool and fun in a sense that their restaurant over looks their arena where you see them ride their horses. It really is. Appropriate that their private room is located in the back of their restaurant where it’s clean, not rowdy and has enough lighting. The food was fantastic by the way! We ordered a choice of Prime Rib, Grilled Salmon and Chicken Marsala. Everyone loved their meal. I tried their Prime Rib myself and I love it. It was tender and flavorful just the way I like it. By the end of the day, we had a fun and successful dinner thanks to this restaurant. I have nothing but good words to say about them. If I need a place to go to in Arlington, I will definitely be coming back here.

3 stars for the creativity, the food was mediocre and service was very friendly but tooooooooooo slow. But I don’t blame them, one in our party of six was a douche about his burger not being what he ordered.

Took 45 minutes to get our appetizers and 90 minutes for our meal. Spent over $ 150 and no apologies or anything. We were celebrating a special occasion. I was so embarrassed that I had brought my family there. Appetizers were cold… main course was total crap. Chicken was dry and a teeny piece. Food was cold. I hate spending my hard earned money on crap service and crap food. Will not be coming back. This is fourth time we’ve been here in a year and thought they deserved yet another chance. What the heck is going on RRR??? Pull your fingers out of your butts for crying out loud. NEVERAGAIN!!! Will drive to Marysville to get better food and better service… such a shame :(

This was an amazing find. We were late getting home and used Unilocal to find a nearby restaurant. Glad we checked because it took us off the main road to this well kept stable. Inside they train horses, have shows and so on. The restaurant sits above the arena and the food was really good. The service was incredible and we even met the owner. The price was superb for what we had. The ribeye was perfect, ask for the garlic aioli with it. omg! Finish with the pear cake, you won’t regret it.

The bison burger is off the chain. The waffle fries are to die for. The staff is friendly and everything they make seems to be amazing. Extremely affordable as well. Soooo good. Prepare for the food coma after.

If you are foodie… Don’t bother. If you like great drinks or wine… don’t bother. No-name bottom shelf brands only offered. We are locals, we ask for the support of our community at our business and reciprocate every chance we get, but as far as The Restaurant at Rhodes River Ranch goes, we are done. Service, food and beverages are all marginal, mediocre at best. Food we had on two visits would equate to Denny’s quality or less than. The facility itself is VERYCLEAN. The ambiance/atmosphere has potential if the food, service and beverages ever improve. It could be so chic — I really want to love it, but I cannot. Location is out of the way, you will need your navigation to guide you even though it is only about ½ mile off the hwy. About 15 minutes from downtown Arlington. Visit #1/Patron #1: Had fish and chips, all you can eat on Wed $ 13: I think the oil was too cold on first serving of fish(too greasy and slimy). Oil was too hot on second serving(burny flavor on batter coating and too oily). Visit #1/Patron #2: Had steak dinner $ 29. Not served rare. Too much tough grisel. Over cooked veggies. Nothing spectacular. Visit #1: Shared a bottle of wine. $ 35? Nothing really good to choose from. Cork broke into pieces when server uncorked it at the table. Dry cork tells you everything you need to know… Visit #2/Patron #1& Patron #2: Had Friday night Prime Rib dinner(@5pm)($ 25& $ 29). Not served rare. Ordered 10 Oz &14 Oz… cuts were the same size. Over use of meat tenderizer. Prime rib should not need tenderizer. Poor quality standing rib roast needs meat tenderizer. No Jose Quervo Tequilla. No Glen Livet Scotch. Still no quality wine choices. Cosmopolitan tasted more like cranberry and water. Baked potato served COLD. Butter would not melt on an 80 degree day. Veggies over seasoned with salt and pepper. Salad wilted and not fresh. Bread was good but served with basil pesto and oil, not butter. Difficult to caputure attention of any of the 6 or 7 servers on duty to get water glasses refilled with water… they were busy filling water glasses and carafes of extra water for the 6 big tables that were reserved by patrons that had not shown up yet. Just done. We tried. Visit #1 was basically $ 100 for two on a Wed night. Not worth it. Visit #2 was $ 84 for two on a Friday evening. Not worth it.

Through a recommendation from a coworker I decided to try this place out. I was expecting one thing but was happily surprised at what I saw. You enter through the arena. You would imagine there would be some smell. The horses off in the distance are in pens. Well cared for. Beautiful. And happy. The restaurant is overlooking the arena. It is very handicap accessible. Five star quality food, five star quality staff, five star quality ambience, the whole experience was a five star… I take that back… This place was a 6 star.

What an amazing experience dining here today. It was our first visit and certainly not our last. We weren’t sure what to expect eating in a «horse arena». Let me just say that you shouldn’t worry about anything. There is an enclosed dining area with a glass wall where you can see the horses in the arena. Unfortunately there were no horses during our visit. The restaurant itself is spectacular with some furnishings rustic and some conventional. The entire staff is awesome. Our server was Christy and she deserves a 6 star rating! So delightful and knowledgeable! We met the head Chef and she rocks! I had the King Salmon, Portobello mushroom and spinach risotto, and broccoli. My mouth and stomach thought I died and went to foodie heaven. Do yourself a huge favor and check this place out… you’ll be glad you did.

The food is good but the absolutely horrible lack of service we experienced this evening ruins any chances of us ever returning. Our server basically ignored us, we had to get up several times to ask for service, it took almost an hour to get half our drink order, had to get up and ask for the other half, and it took over two hours to be served dinner. We would have left way sooner if there were other restaurants nearby. The worst dining experience ever. The place was very busy and very loud, the band made it impossible to have a conversation. So disappointing and embarrassing as we invited our family here because we had had such as great experience one week ago. I just cannot believe how terrible it was. I feel really awful writing negative comments but to be basically ignored by a server is unbelievable.

Such a great restaurant. My grandparents drove here from Colorado and we took them there tonight for dinner. It was my first time attending, although my brother goes often. All the staff was so attentive and kind. I was kind of bummed there wasn’t anything going on with the horses but that’s our fault for not checking beforehand. There was line dancing classes going on and bingo. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely be returning. Thank you to the staff for such an enjoyable night.

I’ve been here three times now & every time the experience has been just ok. The atmosphere of the arena is awesome but the service has been horrible! The wait staff is averagely nice enough but the time it takes from sitting down to actually getting an order taken the food delivered is ridiculous. The horse trainings are so sporadic, my kids have been let down twice with no horses. The food is definitely a little better than what you might imagine a restaurant above an arena would serve, but it is pricy.

After hiking Boulder River my g/f and I decided to find a place to eat in the area. We saw a sign for The Restaurant and was thinking it would be a hole in the wall. Instead we found a beautiful and big ranch that is well maintained with tons to look at. It was cool having the glass wall to watch people riding horses while eating some delicious food. I recommend this place to anyone traveling through the area.

I don’t reward 5 stars unless a business truly offers the whole package and Rhodes River Ranch Restaurant definitely earns it! First, I am amazed that I lived in Arlington for 4 years before I’d heard of this place! After the Oso slide, I saw a full page spread in the Seattle Times advertising«We’re Still Here!», come out for dinner and see Dale Offerman’s Wild Mustangs. My 5-year-old horse lover was sold! My husband, on the other hand, was less than enthusiastic about making the long trek out the 530 Hwy to a «dusty ranch». This place did not disappoint, in fact we were all in awe of the 5-star arena in such a beautiful setting. The restaurant itself, sits up above the arena and is completely enclosed, so one does not whiff the horsey smells while enjoying the meal. Everything about the restaurant was great: wonderful service, clean, modern Western theme, interesting conversational furniture & décor. The food itself was nothing fancy(we’re not dining at Ruth’s Chris), but definitely a step-up from Black Angus or The Outback and priced accordingly. My husband ordered a «Rodeo Burger», which was priced similar with other burger establishments(such as Bobs, Blazing Onion). I had a Prime Rib, which came with garlic mashed potatoes, a side Caesar salad, and french bread. It was not that far off from dining at The Keg. I would happily order it again. The servers were friendly, and the manager went out of his way to ensure we were having an enjoyable experience. A $ 5 donation to Dale Offerman(not affiliated with the restaurant), got my daughter a lengthy horse ride around the arena. 5 Stars because I can’t really find anything that needs improvement. Granted, I live in Arlington and this wasn’t a huge trek for me. City slickers beware — this is a «ranch», and it’s in the country. It’s definitely a different experience than dining at The Met. As such, check the calendar beforehand, call to ensure the horse show is taking place, ask questions(don’t assume anything), and take a breath of country-air. It doesn’t get much better than this!

Just on a day trip up to see the North Cascades, we stopped in at the recommendation of Unilocal to this gem tucked away in the little community of Oso. The facility is gorgeous, with many handcrafted pieces adorning the walls, and beautiful horses being trained. The staff was very friendly and the food was spectacular. I spent some time in New Mexico and having the Southwest Grilled Chicken sandwich with the roasted green chilies was a delicious throwback. The price is very reasonable and it was great to support the local economy of this hard-hit area. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, even if you’re just passing by Arlington on Highway 9 and looking for a good atmosphere and a satisfying meal.
