The Popcorn Stop

Love this place. Go there all the time. Spicy hot cheese, jalapeño cheddar, white cheddar, and spicy buffalo wing are my go to flavors. My wife loves movie theater butter and the kids eat the white cheddar. Customer service is good and they have a lot of unusual items like flavored sodas that are atypical as well as candies from back in the day when I was a kid.

Today was my first time coming in. I really love the Chicago mix! They have really cool drinks and treats. I’ll come back again

I had the pleasure of trying this popcorn when the owner and his son were selling popcorn in the lobby of a business building I frequent. I love small businesses and I also loved that he asked me to let his son handle the transaction so he could get some practice. What a great way to get the kids involved, a summer job turns into a career and keep it in the family.
I ended up buying the white cheddar, the chicago mix (caramel and white cheddar) and the kettle style (sweet and salty). All of them were sooooo good. This popcorn just never ever got hard or tasty stale even after I opened it and the flavor was phenomenal. I have had other shop’s white cheddar popcorn and this far exceeded the others. Plus the prices were ah-​maz-​zing! I think I bought 3 bags for $ 5. And they accepted debit/​credit cards which was a plus since they were selling off-​site and I normally and without cash.
Unfortunately they are in Fort Worth and Arlington, not my side of town.
But he did mention I could order online!

This place has potential, but customer service is very slow and inefficient. The workers are friendly, but disorganized.

Ordered some popcorn for my baby shower and it was a hit. Everyone loved the white cheddar popcorn! Had an overall great experience with this place. They let us try different flavors when we made our order and the lady who helped us was very nice and welcoming.

Kettle/​Caramel popcorn is soo delicious! Muy delicioso for myself! Could not ask for more. I have not have a good popcorn for a long time. They even got spicy ones!

Love the popcorn but the customer service is horrible at the Arlington store. I called to find out where they were located next to for me to easily find them and was told «next to the cars in front of the building». Really! The Fort Worth (Hulen) location is my favorite when the owner is there. I called the number for the Fort Worth store and the Arlington store answered, so I asked a simple question about a product and was told they had it at both stores. I stop what I was doing only to go to the Fort Worth store and be told they have never carried such a product. This make me not want to go back, but the cheese popcorn is to die for!

This place has a salesman come to my work building once every other month or close to that. The guy is so sweet and will let you try everything. Prices are really great compared to other specialty popcorn places. My favorites are the Carmel with almonds, Jalapeño Ranch, Dill Pickle, and the Confetti.

So for my wedding we ordered a shit ton of popcorn for our guests.
When I went to taste test with my planner, we spoke to the manager of the place and she gave us good service, letting us try as many flavors as we wanted to and suggesting the best possible price for everything and what amounts to order in.
However, when my planner placed the order, she spoke to a girl who had no idea what she was doing and our order was mistakenly cancelled. The manager corrected it when I spoke to her. I guess the lesson is – make sure you’re talking to the manager, haha.
The popcorn was a huge hit and delicious. Very fresh tasting. They make sure to make it at the last minute to ensure the best freshness.
We got: turtle chocolate, strawberry, jalapeño ranch, bacon cheddar and original. I only got a single bite of the strawberry before it was devoured.

Popcorn was decent. The low rating is for the customer service. Cashier was girl seemed annoyed that she had a customer.

This is an awesome place. Great flavors and lots of flavors, gives samples before you actually purchase. Usually only one worker, so service is very very slow.

Many many flavors to choose from. I just discovered jalapeño flavored. I got myself some of those and spicy cheddar. Both are tasteful! If you’re not sure what to get, they’ll let you have samples. Just ask the worker there. Also. UTA students get a discount on their entire purchase. At checkout, tell them you attend UTA and they’ll apply your discount. Enjoy!

This is a cute lil place. I got a groupon awhile back to use on $ 10 worth of popcorn. I ended up getting the confetti mix which is a mix of all their candy flavors, the green apple flavor by itself, and a bag of the southwest jalapeño. I would recommend sampling the popcorn first b/​c I didn’t sample the southwest jalapeño, and it is pretty stale. The flavor is good and spicy, but the popcorn is stale. The candy flavor popcorn is yummy though, so that’s the best bet! I plan on coming back to try the shaved ice!

this is a cute little place for you to stop by and get some snacks on the way to a little league game or movies.
They have some candy here but I think they need more variety. I got some of their watermelon mexican lucas candy because those are so hard to find!!! I also got the heath bar popcorn with almond… cant really taste the toffee but the sweetness was there…
The only problem I had was the cashier… He punched in everything in the register then for some reason he turned to the calculator and punched in everything again and told me a price. So I gave him my money and he gave me back the wrong change. I told him it was the wrong change and he punched it in the calculator again and again and every time it went up two dollars… and I was like no, thats not right. Then he finally realize that he was wrong and kept the first price he told me… I wasnt mad but I was just like ok? why didnt you just clear it in the register and do it over… whatever

The Popcorn Stop is a cute place, styled with an old-​fashioned candy shop in mind. They sell candy, popcorn, soda and shaved ice. They have many unique flavors of popcorn to choose from, some are candy flavored, some are spicy and some traditional flavored. The prices are very reasonable. You can buy a «mini» sized bag, which is the size of a small bag of popcorn at the movies, for $ 1! The shaved ice is perfect for a summer treat! If you are ever driving to Mansfield Cinemark from south A-​town, i recommend stopping here to stock up on candy and bottled soda before the movie.
