The Cellar is dead to me. The only reason I ever even tried this place is because a coworker thought their fries were good. I tried them and they were pretty good, and since I work very close so I walk over to get food maybe once a month or so. This is the second time in a month that I have had issues. Last time, I called around 1pm and apparently they changed their hours so they don’t open til 3, however on the internet, on the restaurant itself and on the reader board in the hotel it was not updated. I just wasted 10 minutes walking over and back and it ruined my lunch plans. Today I called to get those stupid fries since I forgot my lunch at home, and apparently they decided they would just not open today. At all. WHATTHEWHAT? It must be nice to have so much money you can decide to just not open at all and put no notices or anything. When I called it eventually routed me to the lobby where the receptionist acted like it was my fault for not knowing? Seriously such bad service I will never even consider it again. Ever. They are dead to me.

This place has a new bartender named Nat! He made me the most awesome Berry Sidecar! Come check it out! They have wonderful customer service. I was offered some warm sourdough bread while I waited for my husband. That’s what I call good service when they see the need before I even realize it. Nat my drink was awesome, thank you, you made my hard week just a little easier!

Great restaurant with a cozy vibe. I had the Captain’s Platter and was very happy with it. Service was very attentive. I will be stopping again next time I am in the area.

We waited at the door for someone to seat us for 5 minutes without any acknowledgement. We finally got seated, got a glass of water from the hostess then were totally ignored for the next 10 minutes. Can’t comment on the food or the drink because we gave up and left. Horrible way to run a Restaurant

Heard so many good things only to be disappointed by the food and the service. I ordered a chicken club… nothing fancy with a salad. It took almost ½ hour to place the order from arrival and I was late to the dinner. Salads took almost 30 minutes to get to the table and they are miniscule. Then another 30 – 40 minutes for the«entrée». The sandwich was so small but I was really too hungry to complain. The rest of my party’s entrees were okay except for all of their food was cold and it wasn’t supposed to be. Overall the flavor wasn’t the worst I have had, but for a $ 13 sandwich I expect not to leave feeling as hungry as I was when I got there. The waitress seemed overwhelmed. Not sure if I want to waste more money to try again.

We tried it twice when we stayed at the adjacent hotel. Be careful when ordering the smoked foods they are extremely smoked with a lot of odd spices. Was extremely nice in service was quickly but the food was just not good. I pretty much like any kind of French onion soup but could literally only eat three bites of theirs. It was extremely salty had crunchy things in the soup which is not the norm for that type of soup.

This place went way down hill since the change of ownership. Here is my experience at the bar just now: Ordered a mojito; «we don’t have mint» Ordered an 1800 Tequila sunrise; «we don’t have 1800» Got well tequila; orange juice was rotten… Got a margarita with well tequila. 2 margaritas were $ 16.00. It was $ 18.00 for two drinks after tip and they had literally none of the things I wanted. Boooooooo! Not going back, sorry.

I came here with a group on a weeknight. Our server was friendly, and very accommodating. However, service was slow, and the food wasn’t all that great. They had one hoagie left, so we had to duke it out amongst the 8 of us to decide who got it. I ended up ordering a BLT. It was looked and tasted like something I could have made in my own kitchen.. and I’m not a great cook. I’m all for«home cooking» but when it comes to ordering sandwiches at restaurants, I expect something a little more for the amount of money I’m paying.

We were visiting Smokey Point last Thursday and we were told to try the Cellar Restaurant. We were impressed with the nice ambience! We enjoyed the crisp fresh salad and appetizers but it is probably not the best place for vegetarian selections. Our waitress, Lynn, was so friendly, nice and attentive. She came around regularly to make sure we were enjoying our meal, very impressive! The Cellar offers a nice wine selections and yummy desserts. We will try it again when we return! Thumbs up!

We arrived on time had to wait 20 minutes to be seated and then when seated the waitress just passed us five times and then we were sent directly in view of the kitchen waited patiently again another 20 minutes to have a waitress finally acknowledge us we waited and ordered hors d’oeuvres warm bread brought to the table but no knives to use for butter had to ask for silverware from another waiterI do believe that they need to have a better assignment of tables and a better waitstaff without people hearing the waitresses complain about each other while sitting there one waitress lost two credit cards on the floor food was mediocre when I go back no

Really good prime rib with potato with all the toppings, salad or soup, fresh green beans. I added the coconut prawns. Yum! Also we had app Cellar tots which were rolled hash browns with bacon and cheese. Very tasty! All of the servers came around in turns to make sure everything was satisfactory. We are very glad we tried it out. We’ll be back for sure! There aren’t many options in Marysville or Arlington for a nice restaurant with booths, steak, burgers, other variety. Not in a smokey casino. Keep up the good work ladies and gents!

I wanted to have a very nice dinner tonight and went to try this restaurant. I had planned on getting a 3 course meal. I ordered the crab cakes as an app and the Tenderloin for the entrée. The waitress was friendly, but its seemed like the place was understaffed. At least, I hope it was because it was understaffed. I got the cakes and they were very good. After finishing my app, I got the salad and the entrée at the same time. I had to eat my salad while my $ 28 steak was getting cold. I had to remind the waitress that the meal came with bread as well. I ended up getting the bread after the salad and steak. The steak was prepared well, but was seasoned with way too much salt. I mean, McDonalds French Fries too much salt. I waited about 10 minutes after I finished eating the entrée before I was asked if I wanted any dessert and by that time, I just wanted to leave.

By far worst experience. Service was terrible. We had a party of eight and they messed up four of our meals. The steak was over cooked and tough. The baked potatoes were a few days old and the mashed potatoes were served barely warm. Our waitress was awful. Wine glasses were dirty and we never got refills on our bread or water. I would not go back. I heard it was under new ownership and apparently they have some work to do. Don’t waste your money. You can get better food and service at the Buzz Inn.

The service was good; we had an attentive waiter but steaks were not good quality. The ribeye was tough and no marbling. Prime rib also seemed tough according to my mother in law. The appetizers and salad were decent but we probably won’t be coming back often. I’ve been to this restaurant before the renovation and this was the first time visiting after they reopened — it doesn’t seem much different.
